VA/ Marketing Manager Assistant/ Content Writer [CLOSED]

I’m Kasia, Marketing Manager at 1040 Abroad. We’re are looking for a new member to join our exciting international team and help me run our marketing. This role is a killer opportunity for a stable and growth-oriented job as you will be able to grow into more advanced positions within our company.

The Virtual Assistant position is for you if you enjoy writing content that influences readers, studying new marketing techniques, finding new creative solutions and automations. You will be able to grow into more advanced positions within our company.

All work is fully remote - so you can work from anywhere and your hours will be flexible as well.

About Us

We prepare US tax returns for Americans living overseas. The US is one of the two countries that taxes their citizens based on their citizenship. The other country is a small African dictatorship, Eritrea. We help the US citizens lower their tax liability to the US while maximizing their wealth.

About the role

This is suitable for someone hard-working, who really wants to learn and grow, develop their skills in the area of digital marketing.

You will be responsible for:

• Writing blog SEO optimized posts and publishing them on Wordpress.
• Finding backlinks opportunities
• Creating blog post images in Canva
• Sharing content on social media
• Reaching out to podcast hosts to set up podcast appearances for our CEO
• Editing landing pages
• Setting up email automations
• Finding photos for an ad campaign
• Setting up partnerships with people from my network to run webinars to their audience
• Creating and editing funnels as appropriate
• Conduct any research and analysis that might be needed for projects

We use Wordpress, HubSpot, Zapier, Canva and Active Campaign for our marketing. Any experience with these is great, but training can be provided.

Whenever there is a task that involves figuring something out you will be expected to study how to do it, come up with options and get approval before implementing it.

Salary: starting at $800 – subject to negotiations based on experience.
