UI/UX Designer - Huemor [CLOSED]

‘Huemor’ is a user experience design and full-stack web development agency. They are experts in conceptualizing, planning, and executing website projects. They help companies, big and small, discover what makes them unique and channel it into a memorable experience that outsells and outshines their competition online.

Over the past 10 years, they have won nearly 100 international awards for our work. Most notably, they were recognized by Webby's for the best homepage on the internet and recently named a top global service provider by Clutch.co

Huemor is looking to expand its team by hiring an Eastern European UI/UX Designer to conceptualise and execute visual designs for client websites.

Within this role, you will:

  • Conceive, design, and present visual designs that deliver the highest quality user experience in terms of innovation, simplicity, and consistency
  • Collaborate closely with Project Management and Creative Director, and clients to help define detailed product requirements as prototypes, descriptions, and detailed wireframes
  • Communicate and present the designs and design ideas to stakeholders and developers as visualizations in a clear, well-documented form
  • Further, develop the designs and design materials in sufficient detail that they can be expressed as clear features suitable for implementation by software development teams
  • Work with developers to ensure the designs are implemented as intended and the integrity of the user experience is maintained in the final product
  • Continually incorporate feedback to improve the UI/X experience

In your first weeks at Huemor, a two-week-long initial training will be organised for you to help you understand Huemor’s business operations, processes and approach to visual designs and tools. 

Tools used to manage the workload and communicate with the team include:

  • Slack → communication with the team
  • Asana → task management & organisation
  • Everhour → time tracking
  • G-Suite apps → email, documents, spreadsheets
  • InVision App → Design Prototyping
  • Sketch → UI design

As a successful candidate for this role, you need to have:

  • 3+ years professional experience creating interfaces for websites or applications
  • Experience using Sketch &  InVision App

Brownie points for:

  • Agency experience
  • Experience working with an international company remotely

What’s in it for you?

  • $2.500 - $3.500* per month
  • Full-time role (8 hours per day 5 days per week) ideally until 3 PM ET but with a degree of flexibility
  • Open, relaxed and friendly work environment
  • 3% annual increases year-over-year
  • 14 days paid time off
  • Opportunities for progressing to a more senior role, e.g. Assistant Creative Director, or similar
