Who are we looking for?

We are currently 2 new developers (Front end / javascript developer and Backend developer) to join. The successful applicants will be working as part of a team of 4 full-time programmers across a variety of products including an Android application, backend administration system, and single-page applications. Applicants must have a can-do attitude, work well under pressure and be able to deliver to tight timescales.

Front end developer role description

Will be responsible for creating a product's coding and development in a way that is attractive and convenient for users. You will work with programmers to ensure that Givergy’s solutions are optimized and presented in an attractive way.

Required skills

1. The candidate must have JavaScript OO programming skills, know MVC & BEM patterns, CSS 3, less and jQuery.
2. Good working knowledge of Backbone, Underscore, Require.js and Jasmin.
3. Understanding of Foundation, Marionette and Sinon is highly desirable.

Backend Java developer role description

Will be responsible for obtaining an understanding of the current product and server-side code base structure, performing necessary research to support and enhance development tasks, writing server-side code for the software product, ensuring quality standards in terms of performance, usability and security of the components etc.

Required skills

The candidate must have experience building Java REST services using Jersey, PostgresSQL and Redis.

1. Good working knowledge of JUnit, Mockito, HK2 and RxJava2.
2. Experience with Dropwizard framework, NGINX, Ubuntu Linux highly desirable
