Travel Coordinator [CLOSED]

Lawson Luxury Travel is looking for a full-time Travel Coordinator to join them and focus on the systematised execution and details of the trips once the itinerary has been finalised, thus ensuring 100% client satisfaction.

More specifically, within this role, you will:

  • Maintain a trip calendar and task list for each trip proactively ensuring each task is completed fully and on time
  • Build itineraries in Axus
  • Convert partner proposals to LLT-branded proposals
  • Manage invoices
  • Communicate with hotels for VIP letters, confirmations, etc.
  • Maintain a trip calendar and task list for each trip
  • Reconfirm reservations and work with the concierge to set up transfers
  • Manage and organise client/trip/destination information in an efficient and searchable manner
  • Create training documents, templates and checklists

As you join the company, an onboarding process and training will be organised for you to get you up and running. You will learn more about the creation of training documents, templates, and checklists, as well as the initial training to learn more about the business and the current processes.

In order to excel in this role, you need to have:

  • Previous hospitality experience or travel planning experience in a corporate environment
  • A university degree
  • Experience with project management software such as Asana or similar
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, as well as PDF
  • Ability to take ownership of your tasks
  • Great problem-solving skills
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software and programs quickly
  • Positive, can-do attitude

Brownie points for:

  • Previous experience in the travel industry
  • Experience implementing templates and processes
  • Social media experience

What’s in it for you?

  • Hourly rate of $8 - $10*
  • Fully remote and full-time position ~ 35 hours - 40 hours per week
  • Semi-flexible working hours with an overlap with 14 h - 18 GMT Monday to Thursday
  • Salary increases based on performance with bi-annual reviews; the salary potential for your role is $13 per hour
  • Professional growth opportunities into a more senior role, such as a senior travel coordinator managing other travel coordinators or a travel designer depending on skill set and career aspirations.
