Travel Coordinator [CLOSED]

Jodianne Johnson Travel is currently looking for an experienced and talented Travel Coordinator to assist with the execution of details concerning the clients’ trips. The role encompasses many assistant-based responsibilities as you will take ownership of day-to-day administrative tasks.

The future of your role is exciting with four key areas of focus:

✓ You will formulate and maintain a trip calendar and master task list for each trip

✓ You will communicate with suppliers, hotels, etc. to build a client’s desired itinerary

✓ You will coordinate many details and responsible for their accuracy

✓ You will formulate solutions and responses to day-to-day itinerary alterations e.g. flight delay impacting a transfer pick-up time, etc.

✓ You will build your own knowledge and expertise in the luxury travel market to assist with the improvements of future processes and planning

Once you join JJT, an onboarding and training process will be organised for you; you will have an opportunity to shadow the CEO, Jodianne, and learn more about the tasks and online resource repository that you can consult.

In order to excel in this role, you need to have:

  • Solid skills and swiftness with Google and Microsoft Office Suite of products, comfort in document conversion and protection
  • Near-native level of the English language and exceptional writing skills
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Excellent work ethic and an even temper
  • Great problem-solving skills and quick and intuitive thinking skills
  • Extremely honest, trustworthy and possess great integrity to do your job well
  • Detail-oriented mindset and the ability to spot areas of concern
  • Ability to work between 5AM and 1PM EST (11AM - 7PM CET)

Brownie points for:

  • Travel agency experience
  • Previous knowledge of Travel Related Software (Sabre, Axus, Traveljoy)
  • Marketing and social media experience

  • Working days Monday to Friday with a rotating inbox coverage on weekends in case of emergency when the clients are travelling
