FlowCandy is currently looking for a Strategy Manager to join their team.

As a Strategy Manager for FlowCandy, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge strategies for eCommerce marketing and make a real impact on the success of the company’s clients. This is a highly strategic role that allows you to focus on the big picture, analyse data and trends, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop plans to execute on those opportunities.

You will be primarily focused on strategic planning and analysis, rather than direct client interactions or email delivery. This is a deep work position that allows you to focus on developing and reporting on retention marketing strategies for our clients. If you have a strong interest in retention consulting and coaching, this role would be a great fit for you.

More specifically, within this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with the Success Manager to understand client goals and develop strategies that align with them
  • Analyse data and trends related to the retention marketing efforts for clients and use that analysis to inform strategy development
  • Identify opportunities to improve retention and conversion rates for clients and developing plans to execute on those opportunities
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends, strategies, apps, and tactics in eCommerce marketing
  • Coach and manage other team members to ensure client success, high KPIs and low client churn rate; providing feedback and coaching to team members when needed
  • Ensure the squad is hitting high KPIs, including great client LTV, client NPS scores, and low client churn rate
  • Work with clients to set proper goals, identify and prioritise retention marketing goals, and develop and execute plans to achieve those goals.
  • Work closely with the Squad Manager and participate in 2 weeks of training
  • Report on the strategy of a few select clients in your first week and eventually handle a full squad's strategy
  • Deliver high-quality work and meet deadlines
  • Work independently and manage time effectively
  • Communicate effectively with the team and clients.

During the first two weeks of the role as a Strategy Manager for FlowCandy, you can expect to be fully immersed in training with the Squad Manager. The training will cover all the necessary information to understand the company's processes, clients, and strategies. You will learn about the company's approach to retention marketing, data analysis, and strategy development. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the Squad Manager to understand client goals and develop strategies that align with them.

The training will also provide an opportunity for you to get familiarised with the tools and technologies used in the company. It's important that you take notes, ask questions, and participate actively during this period. The goal is to prepare you with all the necessary skills to hit the ground running and be successful in the role.

To excel in this role, you need to have:

  • 2-5 years of experience in retention marketing and strategy development
  • 5+ years of experience managing projects and creative teams
  • Strong experience in digital marketing, with a focus on email marketing and eCommerce consulting or coaching
  • Strong understanding and experience with Klaviyo and other email marketing platforms
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to track results/reports and communicate feedback to the team
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote team
  • Introverted personality, as this role requires more focus on deep work
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Strong understanding of eCommerce trends and strategies
  • Ability to stay up-to-date on the latest trends, apps, and tactics that are available to eCommerce brand owners
  • Strong ability to recommend growth strategies based on data analysis
  • A creative and adaptable mindset, with the ability to implement and refine systems to achieve results

As a bonus, knowledge of tools like Klaviyo, Google Analytics, Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Loyalty Lion, Yotpo, Gorgias, Clyde, Segment, Aftership, Octane AI, Okendo, Privy, JustUno etc would be highly desirable and will put you ahead of the other applicants.

What’s in it for you?

  • Fully remote and full-time position with a typical work week of 5 days and 20-40 hours per week
  • Flexible working hours: there is a preference for those candidates willing to work during business hours in the USA EST time zone, but it is not required to be online the whole time.
