We’re looking for an awesome Software Project Delivery Manager to help us define and deliver superb software solutions for our clients as we help them to grow their businesses. Salary scale: €2,000-€3,000 p/m (commensurate with experience)

YOUR ROLE AT GROFUSE

Software Project Manager

This exciting Software Project Manager role requires the successful candidate to have a high level of software project management and delivery experience. You will have very strong written and conversational English, and an excellent track record in complex problem solving. You are someone who understands how to manage the delivery of complex software projects and how to lead a diverse team of developers. You will have strong R&D capabilities. You will be highly experienced in software specification identification and requirements gathering (discovery) with clients to understand exactly the problems they need to solve. You will have a strong technical knowledge of web-based applications.

Excellent commercial awareness is essential as is the ability to deliver projects on time and within budget. Does this sound like a good career more for you?

Primary Responsibilities

  • Daily management of multiple software/web projects
  • Managing the software/web development team, including delegation to in-house and external team members
  • Overseeing software service delivery within the business context
  • Managing project timelines, expectations and budgets
  • Leading the service delivery team, managing conflict, and ensuring the team's processes and tasks are carried out efficiently
  • Writing software specification
  • Carrying out business requirements analysis with clients to identify customer needs
  • Researching and identifying the best software solutions to client problems
  • Determining ways to minimise costs without sacrificing customer satisfaction
  • Assessing customer feedback and using your creativity to establish, improve, and refine services
  • Clarifying and communicating customer requirements, issues and escalations internally
  • Responsible for change management in software/website delivery
  • Provide support to the sales team in preparation of new business bid documentation
  • Keeping abreast of the latest technology
  • Ensuring compliance with legal requirements (GDPR/Brexit/Data Protection/SCA)
  • Policy and procedure technical writing

Essential Criteria

  • Strong experience in agile methodologies and tools (eg Kanban/Scrum in Jira)
  • Excellent resource planning skills
  • Strong customer service, project management, and quality control skills
  • Excellent computer skills and the ability to use business support software
  • An analytical mind with excellent IT skills
  • Strong ability to deal directly with senior stakeholders
  • Excellent leadership and customer service skills
  • Strong teamwork skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Strong Contract/SLA management skills
  • BSc in Computing or related discipline
  • Excellent written and conversational English

Desirable criteria

  • A business qualification is desirable
  • Experience in customer service, leadership and logistics may be advantageous
