We’re looking for an awesome Social Media Specialist to join our engagement-generating and results-focused digital growth marketing team. This position is offered on a fully remote working basis. The post requires the highest level of English writing skills and a strong track record in running organic and paid campaigns across the full range of social media platforms.

Overview: Social Media Specialist
Salary scale: €1,000-€1,800 p/m (commensurate with experience)
Full-Time Contract: Remote Working (40 hours p/w)

This Social Media Specialist role involves producing strong organic growth and return on investment from PPC campaigns for Grofuse and its digital marketing clients.

You will play the central role in the creation, publication, promotion and analysis of social media content for our company and our clients.

You will have a strong nose for what’s trending and a knack for cutting through the noise to catch your audience’s attention and achieve social virility. You will know how to capture your respective audience’s interest, understand their challenges and create content to meet their needs.

You’ll have an instinct for what good content looks like and how to create it, promote it, and to improve it by paying close attention to the data.

Responsibilities: Your Role Summarised

  • Manage social media pages/accounts including on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and Twitter for multiple client organisations operating in a wide range of sectors
  • In cooperation with our digital marketing team, brainstorm and develop strategies for our client’s and in-house social media channels that align with overall marketing strategies.
  • Conduct high-quality research and interviews using your strong capacity for customer empathy in order to understand the needs and desires of our clients’ and those of their customers.
  • Write, edit and publish ‘creative’, engaging posts in English (British) for various social networks that drive demand, customer engagement, and online traffic, with the aim to deliver higher qualified sales pipelines and customer retention.
  • Create and post ‘creative’, engaging graphic design content based on specific customer personas and brand guidelines
  • Source images/videos (access to resources provided) to accompany written copy
  • Manage multiple social media advertising (PPC) campaigns across various social media platforms simultaneously
  • Analyse insights in order to monitor performance and improve ROI results by interpreting the data
  • Regularly report on and assess performance against the goals set (ROI and KPIs)
  • Identify and develop relationships with influencers and user groups to support both content creation and community engagement
  • Work as part of the digital marketing team to understand client expectations and deliver results that meet and exceed those expectations

  • Draft creative copy for blog posts, emails and landing pages as part of campaigns
  • Stay informed on social media marketing tools and trends to help boost campaigns
  • Comfortably vary voice, tone, style, and other writing characteristics to suit respective client briefs.
  • Collaborate closely with our directors, account managers, project managers, designers, developers and digital marketing specialists to deliver content for projects.
  • Assist in conducting regular content audits and developing content marketing strategies.

Essential Criteria: Qualifications/Skills/Experience

  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Proficiency in graphic design
  • A minimum of three years in a social media/content marketing role.
  • High level of proficiency in social media insights and analytics in order to make decisions based on data to achieve improved results
  • A self-starting creative in order to generate high level of engagement with posts
  • A strong working knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and Twitter
  • Results-driven in all aspects of this role
  • Experienced in social media PPC campaigns
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Strong creative writing ability in both long and short form
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Experience or working 100% remotely
  • Ability to work well to respective marketing briefs independently
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, with a high-volume workload, short turnaround times and very strict deadlines.

Desirable Criteria: Nice to have skills/experience

  • Experience working in a Facebook Marketing Partner agency
  • Experience with G-Suite, Slack, Jira and Adobe design software
  • Experience in video creation
  • Experience in motion graphics
  • Experience in WordPress website management (for content updates)
