About us?

Future State Media provides a range of digital marketing services for our customers that work with us because we help them to understand the marketing world and come up with cost effective strategies for them to succeed.

Our customers are primarily digital entrepreneurs who are operating in the eCommerce space and we're applying a mix of strategies to develop their organic traffic streams. We work in association with a paid advertising agency to fill this gap for our clients.

However - our business also operates a number of revenue generating websites of our own, publishing large volumes of content per month. We're therefore building an operation that identifies keywords and article opportunities, delivers on them with engaging content and continually optimises that content for monetisation.

Our services include keyword research, content writing, content upload and optimisation, Search Engine Optimisation (on page and off page), full turnkey management of websites - SEO and content, full website build services including eCommerce, website management (updates, security and general optimisation), Pinterest Management, Social Media Management, Collaboration Management (influencer marketing), eCommerce strategy development and financial modelling and eCommerce SEO.

Our team of 12 spread across the world from the Philippines, the UK and also in the USA (east coast) currently consists of:

Search Engine Optimisation experts with a focus and bias to keyword research and on page optimisation

Article researchers and writers

Social media managers

Collaboration managers (influencer marketing managers)

eCommerce SEO experts

Website builders and managers.

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Social Media Manager who would be both involved with clients’ work but also with our internal projects as well. You will be responsible for content creation, planning and posting, community engagement, delivery of social media strategy, presence in client meetings and monthly client reporting and (influencer) collaboration management. You'll display excellent organization and communication skills and are able to demonstrate both strategic and creative skill sets.

You are not limited to the responsibilities outlined in this role. There are more opportunities that you could get involved in at FSM, depending on your skills and interests.We are interested in helping you grow your skills, and as our work together grows, you’ll get hands-on education to make sure you are getting top-notch training.

Here are the main role responsibilities:

⇢ Administering and moderating business social media accounts ( Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest)

⇢ Creating content - both copywriting and simple design

⇢ Publishing and scheduling content on social media channels both manually and using Buffer

⇢ Managing DM's and comments

⇢ Doing daily community engagement on all accounts

⇢ Working with our clients to understand their goals and needs (this is done with the help of a Manager)

⇢ Manage Social Media Collaborations

⇢ Constantly evaluate the accounts by KPIs assigned to each client and account.

⇢ Keep the content fresh and exciting by keeping up with social media trends

⇢ Monthly reporting using templates and KPIs.

You’ll have full support from your manager, who you will work directly with, along with other team members and a range of SOP’s and information.

Attitude is everything! We are seeking someone who is passionate, self-motivated and highly organized to work on a variety of social media and marketing activities. We are going to be working closely together, hopefully for a long time, so a sense of humor will go a long way.

Tasks will be worked in our project management system (Asana), with communication through Asana, Google Chat and weekly calls over Google Meet.

When there is a new task that will involve research, you will be expected to undertake that research, discuss with the team and implement

Requirements for the Role

Excellent Written English - You will be creating content, communicating with both customers and clients so excellent written English skills are essential.

High Attention to Detail - You will have significant autonomy to write and post to all social media channels that you are managing and to our customers directly. You must have excellent attention to detail and the ability to accurately proof your own work.

⇢ Experience with online content creation - You’ll be using a variety of systems including Canva, Buffer, Facebook Creator’s Studio to create and schedule content. Ideally, you will have experience and familiarity with these or similar tools.

Able to learn new software tools and systems quickly - We use a variety of systems including Asana, WordPress, Google Drive (Sheets and Documents), Gmail, Canva, Google Analytics, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and others so you’ll need to be willing and able to to learn

⇢ Self Motivated, Highly organized and Confident in asking questions - You'll be working remotely and communicating with the team online. It is important that you are self-starter, highly organized and confident to be able to ask for help when needed.

⇢ Hard-working You need to be able to juggle and prioritize tasks and projects, completing them in a timely manner

Available to work at least 3-4 hours overlap with UK Time zone

⇢ Ideally have 6 months + experience with social media and/or marketing or related activities

including social media marketing, web design, influencer marketing, email marketing etc)

Benefits

This is a full-time role, so that is a minimum of 150 hours per month. Available to work at least 3-4 hours of your working days (Monday - Friday) with an overlap with the UK Time zone

The role is 100% remote, you can work from anywhere you choose, so long as you have a fast and consistent internet connection, your own computer and a webcam.

Salary of $1000 - $1300 per month and is commensurate with experience and enthusiasm.

20 days holiday per year
