Jansen Webconcepts is a portfolio company of perhaps 50 websites (we never count them so we are not sure actually!) in affiliate marketing, lead gen, digital products, content, and platforms with a team of around 45 FTE. The niches vary from legal to rehab to personal finance to graphic design.

What have we achieved so far? We will give you an example: we have built the biggest platform in the rehab space in the Netherlands. We get daily calls from people telling us how happy they are they found our website and that it has put them on the right track of overcoming their addiction. What started as a simple directory website built in 3 weeks is now a platform with 7 days per week free helpline that makes a difference in people's lives. And that’s just one example of how much we have accomplished!

Our company culture is friendly and non-corporate; nonetheless, we are very ambitious and team-oriented. We will always encourage learning & will invest a lot in great courses; at the same time, we love sharing our findings amongst each other!

You like our business & would love to join us? If you have a flair for SEO & running operations, you sound like a great fit for our new SEO Strategy & Operations Manager position, which will help us build systems, as well as grow & manage teams.

This is a perfect position for you if you wish to play a key role in the team & help bring our business forward by growing individual websites with great execution and leading other people to help on this mission.

Most of our sites have SEO as their main traffic driver, so SEO will be a big part of the job, however, your role will not be only SEO-based.

As our SEO Strategy & Operations Manager, you will:

• Oversee and grow several websites
• Identify website needs & manage teams and freelancers who will execute the tasks
• Create SOPs to help systematize the processes
• Set output goals and make sure that we meet those goals
• Identify any technical problems with the site (& communicate with the developers to fix them, if needed)
• Report to and work directly with Paul, the owner, and interact with other team members and freelancers

Paul will be training and supporting you personally, and you'll also get all the support you need from other team members. We will also provide relevant training material.

The first few weeks are important and tell a lot about you. The best way to get a good picture is by letting you handle one project (website) and work intensively together. You'll learn the ropes but will also be expected to show your knowledge and expertise in the first few weeks. We won’t let you swim though of course. :)

As our successful candidate, you need to have:

• Experience managing a (small) SEO team or
• Experience with running websites
• Understanding of SEO practices necessary to identify website needs
• Nearly fluent written and spoken English
