SEO Specialist - Affinda [CLOSED]

Affinda is a company that provides AI products & builds world-class solutions, currently helping over 500 companies embrace AI technologies. As a rapidly developing business, they release artificial intelligence products every month & and are looking to continually grow and redefine all the possibilities AI has to offer!

The team consists of more than 30 people, including developers, data scientists, product experts and AI engineers. Around half of the team is remote across Europe and the US, while the headquarters are in Melbourne. This is a remote-first business, offering flexible hours and locations while promoting independence and efficiency!

Right now, Affinda is looking for an SEO Specialist to own the entire SEO function and help the company step into the new phase of inbound traffic growth. You’ll need to have a creative approach to on-page traffic needs & implement programs to increase the company’s brand presence to intercept people searching for a solution.

As the new member of the team, you will:

• Grow the company’s traffic base by creating and managing the next phase of our SEO strategy
• Manage groups of link builders and content writers
• Write processes and brief & manage contractors
• Work closely with the Head of Marketing and the Marketing Op

Tools you’ll use for management & communication:

• Slack
• Trello
• Google Drive
• Microsoft Teams
• Sharepoint

This is a full-time remote position and the hours are flexible, as long as there are at least 2 hours of overlap with Melbourne time. During the onboarding process, you will get familiar with the company’s systems, meet the entire team, and get started on some small initiatives to grow traffic. This is a small & friendly team, and although there won’t be any formal training, there will be plenty of support. :)

To be a successful candidate, you need:

• Significant SEO experience (ideally 5+ years)
• Experience as the key responsible person for a brand's traffic
• Strong analytical skills - predominantly in keyword/traffic data
• Knowledge of Google Analytics & Search Console
• Working knowledge of HTML.

Bonus points if you have experience in managing junior team members & contractors!

Our ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, hard-working & a great communicator. As you’ll have the autonomy to follow your own judgement and implement your SEO strategy, you need to have excellent analytical & organizational skills as well!
