The Vinnie Mac team is looking for an SEO Specialist to join them and execute on-page and off-page strategies. You will work closely with the SEO manager and help improve and execute SEO strategies for the clients.

More specifically, within this role you will:

• Do a comprehensive local SEO audit with a specific plan of action
• Resolve advanced on-page and technical SEO tasks independently
• Conduct ongoing review and monitoring for target keywords
• Update the content for target pages to improve its relevance to search engines
• Plan content strategy, as well as manage content processes with copywriters
• Do competitor research
• Execute off-page local SEO tasks
• Manage client’s directory listings and citations and maintain their consistency
• Optimize clients’ Google Business Profile
• Create SEO reports highlighting key changes and points for improvement
• Assist Junior SEO Specialists with advanced SEO tasks
• Collaborate with the SEO manager in formulating a strategy for clients as needed
• Liaise with Google Support to verify, reverify, or reinstate clients’ Google Maps listings

In order to excel in this role, you need to have:

• 3+ years of experience with SEO and GBP
• Experience with content management systems like WordPress or DudaExperience with tools such as Ahrefs, Local Falcon, Google My Business, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, BrightLocal, SurferSEO, and Jasper
• Functional understanding of HTML and CSS
• Ability to work with .htaccess, robots.txt, meta tags, and site speed optimization.
• Eagerness to stay up to date with the latest Google algorithm updates and the latest local SEO trends
• Experience managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines
