Job Title: SEO Specialist

Location: 100% Remote

Hours Available: The position will be FT work, salary. EST or PST time zone.

Working time is flexible but needs to be overall consistent each week during the work day.

Intro:
We have an SEO agency called Rotate Digital and we help moving companies get more clients online by ranking them on Google for profitable keywords. We are different than most SEO agencies. While other SEO agencies provide services to all businesses in all industries, we focus specifically on moving companies. This gives us a competitive edge and our clients love it.

We are a 100% performance-based agency. We get paid because of our results. If we don’t get results, we lose clients and we don’t get paid.

The work we do for our clients is meaningful.

• We don’t sell to clients and do average “good” work that most SEO agencies do.

About the Job:
We’re looking for a rockstar SEO Specialist to work with us and deliver amazing results to our clients. As our SEO Specialist, you’ll work with our experienced SEO team and report to our SEO Manager. You’ll learn to work through our strategic process that we have built out. You’ll be in charge of executing SEO taskwork for our clients, analyzing the progress, mitigating when results don’t work well and providing your expertise to help the company grow!

By doing this you will be expected to help deliver an amazing amount of value to all our clients and help in communication with them as well. This position will have consistent work and has room to expand your responsibility if you consistently produce high-quality work.

Some of the things you will be responsible for:

• Performing monthly SEO taskwork (onpage, offpage, technical, & local)
• Light website editing
• Following an SEO process, including light editing websites, following videos
• Finding issues, troubleshooting, and/or reporting them
• Deliver consistent positive client results
• Executing ad hoc tasks for clients & the business
• Managing your SEO clients like it’s your own business on the line
• Attend daily team and SEO meetings

Requirements:
As the title says, we’re looking for a “Rockstar SEO Specialist” and this doesn’t mean anybody… You must satisfy all of the following requirements to be considered for this job:

• Proficient in the Google Suite (GSC, GA, GMB), Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog and other SEO tools
• Have experience doing Local SEO AND State/National SEO
• Honest & transparent
• Have the ability to work alone 95% of the time
• Desire to work hard every day, go above and beyond and overdeliver for our clients
• Willingness to stay up late sometimes to get work done
• Consistent- you need to be able to thrive in learning and adapting as our process is not perfect
• Basic knowledge of Wordpress and code, you don’t have to be a developer (but that's a bonus)
• You must love and have a huge passion for SEO. If not you’ll burn out of this role quickly
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (in English)
• Must work 90% in EST time zone

The ideal candidate will also be interested in a leadership role when it comes to training other members of our client services team and taking ownership over the SEO success of client projects..

Additional experience, knowledge or Skills (not required)

• Experience working with Wordpress Page Builders including Gutenberg
• Experience in Local SEO
• Content writing/editing for SEO

Once you join our team, within the first few weeks, you will listen to client calls, learn about our tools, and attend meetings with other SEO strategists. Training will be provided at the beginning of your onboarding by the CEO himself. You will also work closely with senior members of our strategy team to learn the ins and outs of our proven SEO strategies and how we communicate them to clients.
