Role Overview
As an SEO Account Manager, you’ll be the primary client advisor, translating complex SEO strategies into actionable plans. You’ll bridge client goals with internal execution, ensuring campaigns deliver ROI while maintaining clear, proactive communication.

Key Responsibilities
Client Management:

Lead client onboarding, quarterly reviews, and weekly check-ins (virtual/in-person).

Act as the trusted SEO advisor, aligning strategies with client business objectives.

Deliver clear, jargon-free reporting on KPIs like organic traffic, rankings, and conversions.

Strategy & Execution:

Develop tailored SEO roadmaps: keyword research, competitor analysis, and technical audits.

Coordinate content/technical teams to optimize on-page elements and resolve crawl/index issues.

Oversee digital PR outreach and backlink campaigns to boost domain authority.

Analytics & Optimization:

Track performance using Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and SEMrush.

Translate data into actionable insights (e.g., cannibalization fixes, intent alignment).

Troubleshoot ranking drops and algorithm updates with rapid adjustments.

Process Improvement:

Refine workflows for scalable client delivery (e.g., template-driven audits, automated reporting).

Mentor junior team members on SEO best practices and client communication.

Requirements
Must-Have:

5+ years in SEO, with 3+ years in client-facing roles (agency preferred).

Expertise in Ahrefs, SurferSEO, Google Analytics, and CMS platforms (WordPress/Shopify).

Strong grasp of technical SEO (site speed, mobile optimization, structured data).

Native-level English with polished presentation skills for C-suite stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have:

Experience scaling e-commerce/enterprise SEO campaigns.

Certifications in Google Analytics, SEMrush, or HubSpot.

Benefits

Salary: ZAR 30,000–40,000/month (performance bonuses available).  ($1700 -$2300) per month*

Fully Remote: Work from anywhere, 8 AM–6 PM UK hours.
