Dubai Tech Startup provides agency accounts from Facebook, Google, TikTok, and other platforms as well as the marketing tools and strategies to help its clients scale their businesses. The company is now building an app so that the clients can log in and make requests through it, helping the company facilitate and expand its operations!

Dubai Tech Startup is currently looking for a Senior Tech Lead with hands on experience that will potentially grow into the CTO position.

During the onboarding process, you will get familiar with the team, company values and vision. Within the first month, you will take ownership of the app project and implement a roadmap for V1. You’ll analyse the current tech stack & suggest improvements for the current tech stack stabilisation, fixing current bugs and issues.

Then, you will gradually:

• Finalize the V1 project including the final futures (payment, notification system, communication and the development of the customer feedback loop)
• Implement a roadmap for V2 & V3
• Stabilize the technical stack for future growth, with 99.9% uptime
• Approve, hire & train new hires to speed up development
• Make sure backend architecture is secure and compliant for (V2 / V3) fintech
• Function as the liaison between the CEO and engineering team, enabling the CEO to focus attention on other strategic priorities
• Make sure you’re a positive mentor for team members, with the team hitting at least 95% of their KPIs with positive feedback in their monthly reviews

After a year in this role, you will have:

• Successfully grew the team from 2 to 5 while ensuring a top-tier hiring bar
• Successfully implemented V1, V2 and V3
• Maintained a good tech stack for whitelabelling and scaling
• Successfully onboarded 5 new whitelabeling partners (with CEO help through strategic relationships with competitors)
• Continued developing growth ideas for the app that impact the bottom line through the customer feedback loop

To be a successful candidate, you need:

• 3+ years of experience as a Senior Full Stack Developer (React / Python)
• Experience in startups and semi-unstructured environments
• Experience building adtech/fintech apps
• 2+ years in a leadership position
• Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
• Experience hiring dev team of high achievers using topgrading methods
• You are someone who craves ownership and autonomy!

What’s in it for you?

• Monthly salary of $6000 - $7000*
• Full-time & fully remote
• Working hours with some overlap to Dubai on Mondays to Saturdays until solid operations are implemented; Mondays to Fridays afterwards
