We are looking for a Senior Operations Manager to oversee our daily operations & manages the establishment and administration of a defined set of services, projects & programs. Primary responsibilities are focused on core functional areas, such as human resources management, administrative management, business development and management. Assumes a leadership role ensuring that existing and emergent programs and services are moving forward, efficiently running and that they are in direct support of the overall goals and objectives of the enterprise. Collaborates directly with senior leadership on the development of strategies to enhance the value and cost-effectiveness of all outcomes within the functional area of operation, and participates in overall decision making as a member of the senior management team of the enterprise.

Working hours: 9am - 5pm London time [Weekdays only]

JOB ROLE:

  • Plans and oversees strategic, operational, and administrative programs, projects, and/or services of broad significance to the organization within the designated functional area of focus
  • Establishes and implements short- and long-range organisational goals, objectives, strategic plans, and operating procedures; monitors and evaluates programmes and operational effectiveness, and effects changes required for improvement
  • Provides strategic management in the development, implementation, and evaluation of new or modified operating practices and procedures
  • Analyzes, designs, documents, and implements internal reporting systems and procedures for the organisation
  • Designs, coordinates, and implements best practices within the organisation
  • Manages and/or provides day-to-day leadership engaged in specified project activities

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

  • Comprehensive applied knowledge and operations management expertise
  • Skill in operational procedures and developing & implementing new strategies
  • Ability to analyze complex problems, interpret operational needs, and develop integrated creative solutions
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community
  • Advanced analytical, evaluative, and objective critical thinking skills
  • Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports
  • Knowledge and understanding of project planning, development, and administration
  • Ability to supervise a team, to include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments
