DSO is a new sports technology start-up that’s working on reinventing fan ownership and participation in professional sports clubs, by creating the future of digital seats.

If you are looking to join an early-stage start-up operating amid several big trends/waves – e.g. sports club needing to modernise to cater to a new fanbase & creating reliable non-game day revenue, sports fans looking for ways to get closer to clubs, and the adoption/exploration of web3 to open new possibilities – then make sure to continue reading to find out how you can join DSO!

DSO is looking for their next key team member – a Senior Full-Stack Developer to lead, oversee and implement the development of their code and software. Within the role, you will play a key part in the company by enabling the team to speed up tech development and react faster to changing priorities. DSO is looking for someone that can, in the future, also manage and grow the team, and the role comes with huge scope for potential growth to a Head of Engineering/CTO role.

You will have the opportunity to learn more about the company, the current systems and the tech stack. You will also start working on some immediate maintenance tasks, bug fixes, improvements, and new feature developments. You will also be in charge of helping DSO transition from agency tech development to in-house, as well as overseeing the work of a junior developer (who will be the next hire into the engineering team).

DSO is looking for a commercially-minded engineer with an interest in the business and the business goals of the work they are doing. Sounds like you? To excel in this role, you need to have:

  • Full-stack software development experience
  • Node.js, React.js, net core, SQL server, next js and typescript experience
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and Github
  • Demonstrable interest in blockchain/web3 technology

  • A proactive work attitude; you are a driven and motivated self-starter
  • Good communication skills and excellent English

Brownie points for:

  • Blockchain, NFT, smart contract or solidity-related software development experience
  • A demonstrable experience in using web3 technologies
  • Sports technology development experience
  • Experience working for a remote team/early-stage start-up

What’s in it for you?

  • Monthly salary of $6000 - $7000* depending on your experience and fit for the role
  • Fully remote and full-time position ~ 40 hours per week
  • Semi-flexible working hours with a mandatory 2 PM to 5 PM GMT overlap with the USA-based team (Mon-Fri)
  • 20 days of paid holidays per annum
  • Potential for a salary increase as the company grows
  • Huge scope for growth as DSO is looking for someone who will initially do the development work, but soon lead a team of engineers and potentially grow into a Head of Engineering/CTO
