TJC UK is currently looking for a SalesForce Commerce Cloud Developer to join the eComm Development team, enhance features and develop new functionalities as well as increase customer experience on the brand websites.

In this role, you will:

  • Work as part of the development team on multiple eCommerce and multi-channel applications and integrations, leading vendor dev resources
  • Create and maintain new functionality on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform
  • Deliver scalable, reusable, and maintainable code
  • Follow coding standards and best practices within the development cycle and code review processes.
  • Optimise page load performance by optimising HTML, CSS, JavaScript images and content delivery, ideally in an enterprise eCommerce platform environment
  • Maintain a close working relationship with the 3rd party eCommerce development team, internal product owners, and QA team
  • Complete development work required on each project in line with the trading calendar and development roadmap/release plan
  • Identify and escalate areas for technical improvement of the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform
  • Maintain a strong understanding of Salesforce Commerce Cloud and industry trends
  • Provide ad hoc technical support, testing on releases

To excel in this role, you need:

  • 2-5 Years of experience in SFCC (formerly Demandware) Development
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce concepts.
  • Experience working on OCAPI, SFRA and Site genesis/ Pipeline.
  • Experience working with the Atlassian development toolset – Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Git.
  • Strong programming skills in building and maintaining Salesforce commerce cloud platforms and integration.
  • Proven HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development experience. Experience with JavaScript
    frameworks will be an advantage.
  • Ability to communicate well, giving proactive feedback to peers and team
  • Good organisational skills
  • Experience working with the Atlassian development toolset – Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Git
  • Strong programming skills in building and maintaining Salesforce commerce cloud platforms and integration

Brownie points for:

  • Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer Certifications
  • Experience in Salesforce B2C Commerce
  • Experience in Commerce Cloud Storefront Reference Architecture
  • Experience with other Salesforce standard plugins: i.e., Einstein
  • Experience in a Salesforce Consultancy
  • Experience with JavaScript framework
  • Experience working within an Agile Scrum environment

The salary for this position ranges between $4000 - $5000* per month, and the benefits will be discussed directly with the employer.
