We are looking for a full-stack developer responsible for developing the next version of our SaaS Shopify App: a size recommender feature for fashion merchants. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for developing and integrating the front-end elements into the application both of the merchant (Shopify App) and the end-customer (Shopify Store)

The integration with Shopify has been fully developed (authentication, billing, web-hooks, etc), therefore, previous Shopify experience is a plus but not a must.

  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable backend code
  • Implement the frontend for the merchant and end customer
  • Design and build the next iteration of the existing app, working together with a Product Owner

  • You have experience with Node.js, Express, Javascript. Experience with Prisma is a nice to have
  • You have a good understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3. Experience with VueJS is a key differentiator, as the existing frontend uses Vue
  • You have experience with Git version control and standard DevOps practices (e.g. maintaining separate development and product environments)
  • You pick up new technologies quickly and efficiently
  • You can ease yourself into an existing codebase instead of having to always rewrite everything immediately

  • Can do attitude
  • Willing to add value to any project they are involved in by sharing the best strategy and making sure we provide the best product for those we serve
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Strong ability to independently problem solve and make decisions
  • Ability to communicate frequently and efficiently via chat

  • Negotiable monthly salary
  • Knowledge in one of the highest growing markets at the moment: Shopify
  • Open and friendly work environment
  • Opportunity to build a great product in an innovative niche

This position will be closed as soon as we find the perfect match. So, make sure to read the description carefully and take your time to submit a high-quality application that stands out. If you apply, we’ll respond promptly and keep you updated throughout the process.

As part of the hiring process, there will be the following steps:

  2. Test tasks for the shortlisted candidates
  3. Video Interview where we can get to know each other in more depth
