Ruby on Rails/React.js Developer [CLOSED]

We are looking for a developer to participate in the development of the internal product to automate our business process.

Tech stack: Ruby on Rails, ReactJS, Bootstrap, PostgreSQL

This is a full-time position with a mid-term contract of 3 to 6 months. The developer will work under the guidance of the Team Lead, but you also have to be independent, deliver tasks on time and participate in the daily communication with the team.


The product key features include:

1) Several interfaces depending on the user role (Planning, Delivery, Client)
2) Dashboards with task lists
3) Task management (status, due date, comments)
4) Managing large amounts of data in a sheet-view
5) Catalogue-like data view
6) Email notifications


The delivery team will consist of 1 to 3 developers, QA and PM/BA. Daily communication with the team is assumed. We work under the agile methodology. The description of each task is provided, but your contribution will be appreciated as we’re open for discussion. The overall product documentation is managed in Confluence.


Key responsibilities:

- Deliver development tasks assigned to you
- Participate in planning the iterations in cooperation with the stakeholders
- Code review
- Write unit and integration tests

Required qualifications:

- 2+ years developing commercial software in a similar position
- Clean, efficient code implementation
- Knowledge of the backend technology
- Advanced-level competency with JS, HTML&CSS
- Experience with good coding practices
- Proper English verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and can take direction
- Can independently plan tasks
