Research Assistant with Lead Generation or Affiliate Marketing [CLOSED]

Hello! We are a digital marketing firm specializing in developing amazing online communities. We are a small team on 3 different continents, we are 100% remote and growing.

We need some help with two key things:

1 - Get our outreach to partners and programs organized and flowing so we are keeping our pipeline filled

2 - Research and organize new opportunities

You are an experienced researcher who has either Affiliate Marketing or Lead-gen experience or SEO, this is NOT a sales or SEO role. You should also be great at organizing and tracking large amounts of information and is interested in figuring out things you don’t know.

Here are some things that you will be doing:

  • Researching lists of prospects for potential backlinks, partnerships, or affiliate programs

  • Emailing/contacting these prospects about opportunities

  • Building and maintaining a healthy pipeline of partners, backlink prospects and affiliate programs joined

  • Tracking your outreach efforts in our system

  • Improving and expanding our existing processes and creating new and repeatable processes that can expand our outreach

  • Assessing and analyzing affiliate, partner, or linking prospects current process and requirements

  • Exploring new concepts and suggesting ways we can implement new methods into our process

  • Working directly with our founders and our team as it grows

There are more things that this role involves, and there could be more that you could get involved with depending on your interests and skills. We are interested in growing your skills, and as our work together grows, you’ll get hands-on education and the room for growth.

You’ll have full support from us, along with other team members and a range of SOP’s and information, you don’t need to ‘know’ everything, you just need to be interested in and willing to figure it out.

Attitude is everything! We are seeking someone who is passionate, smart, self-motivated, and highly organized to work on a variety of research and organizational activities. We are going to be working closely together, hopefully for a long time, so a sense of humor will go a long way.

We will give you high flexibility with your hours. In return, every now and then you may need to work outside normal working hours due to timezone differences. However, that will be a very minimal part of your role.

Requirements - What We Need From You

  • Solid Written English - You will be doing outreach and contacting partners, so excellent written English skills are essential.

  • High Attention to Detail - You will have significant autonomy in your daily work with research and outreach, so you must have excellent attention to detail and the ability to accurately quality check your own work.

  • Able to learn new software tools and systems quickly - We use a variety of systems including Asana, WordPress, Google Drive (Sheets and Documents), Gmail, Google Analytics, and others so you’ll need to be willing and able to learn new systems through a variety of self-taught methods.

  • Intelligent, Self Motivated, Highly organized, and Love to Learn - You’ll be working remotely with communication across a variety of channels and task management through Asana and other online tools so we need to be sure you are great at problem-solving, can master technical skills fast and that you ask questions if you are not sure of what to do.

  • Extremely organized – there are lots of different things you’ll be involved in and all need to be prioritized, managed, and completed accurately, effectively, and on time.

  • Hard-working – we don’t mess around here. We get a lot done very quickly. You will need to as well.

  • Ability to self-manage your time and excel in an autonomic role.

  • Available to work at least 2 hours of your working day between 7AM and 11AM ET.

  • Ideally have 2+ years of full-time work experience in sales, marketing or research or related activities.

  • MUST have some experience in content marketing, sales prospecting or link building.


  • This is a full-time role, so that is at minimum 40 hours per week with availability to work at least 2 hours of your working days (Monday - Friday) between 7AM and 11AM ET.

  • The role is 100% remote, you can work from anywhere you choose, so long as you have a fast and consistent internet connection, your own computer, and a webcam.

  • Some flexibility of your hours is required to deal with deadlines or the odd unexpected issue over the weekend - there’s flexibility in this so you absolutely will NOT be working every day of the week.

  • Salary of $1000 - $1250 per month and is commensurate with experience and enthusiasm.

  • In the future we’ll be implementing a profit-based bonus scheme, we want everyone to share in the success of as we grow.
