ReactJS Developer [CLOSED]

Tomodomo/Van Patten Media Inc. is looking to hire a part-time/contract React developer to our team for several projects over the course of this year (and maybe beyond).

The ideal candidate also has experience working with WordPress and PHP (you will be focussed on React, but many of our React projects are built on PHP and WordPress backends, so the experience could prove useful). You should be familiar with Gulp, Webpack, ES6, Redux, and other important concepts and tools in the React/Node/JS worlds.

If you have experience with React Native, that's even better. Please mention it in your PM!

Examples of what we’ve got in the pipeline:

• An interactive dashboard that pulls data from various APIs
• An Android React Native app for a community forum
• “Blocks” and other customisations for WordPress’s new React-powered editor (Gutenberg)

You’ll be working closely with our existing design & development team, so experience collaborating with other developers is helpful. A candidate in the US Eastern time zone (or a time zone with significant EST overlap) is preferred, but it’s not a hard requirement. You can expect around 10–15 hours per week (or more if you've got React Native experience).
