JOB PURPOSE

The role is very dynamic, incorporating a wide variety of tasks such as internal and external project management and governance, SME packages coordination and follow up connecting to GS co-workers and external stakeholders when needed. Key account for managing varied projects and Asana utilisation, in collaboration with different departments. Secure internal processes in place and design internal activities allocating tasks to different GS roles, in collaboration with HR.

As the post holder, you will take new ideas and projects, conduct research and analysis, and turn insights into implementable strategies. You will take your lead from the CEO, but use your communication abilities to work effectively with colleagues and external stakeholders to produce our programmes to our best ability. This role needs a self-starter, able to work independently and with initiative, as well as collaboratively as a part of a team.

MAIN ASSIGNMENT

  • Managing and coordinating projects, keeping track of timelines, tasks, and the processes used to work efficiently and effectively.
  • Monitor SME service packages making sure they run properly.
  • Plan, coordinate, organize resources needed for GS programmes.
  • Manage internal processes and resources allocated to them.
  • Selecting and managing external suppliers for none strategic tasks outside GS internal competencies/capacities.
  • Undertake new projects for GS, effectively project manage using Asana to provide overall administration, governance and support.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

  • Resourceful and adaptable, with an appetite to dive into different subject areas and manage multiple projects.
  • Committed to the values and vision of Generation Success in respect to the campaign for social mobility in youth career development and opportunity.

Qualifications:

  • Any previous experience in project management.

OR

  • A degree in Business Administration, Communications, Management, or any other relevant subject

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, being able to work and engage with people from a range of backgrounds and with varied personal experiences.
  • Ability to influence decisions that need to be made to make the project successful, adapting and dealing with situations, to say “No”.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and provide information regarding tasks, plans, schedule, enabling people to work together as a team.
  • Knowledge of fundamental project management processes, methodologies and tools & techniques.
  • Strong personal integrity and accountability, being able to set and meet personal deadlines and keep promises to colleagues.
