Product Manager needed for fast growing UK Startup [CLOSED]

This opportunity is for one of our partner companies (rota.com - B2B Saas platform for people-driven organisations wanting to manage their workforce in a smarter way). They have a good Product team in place with both UK based and a remote team.

What will you be doing?

As a member of the Product team at Rota, the Associate Product Manager will be accountable for:

• Product discovery: Working with the Product Managers, Designers and Engineers you will contribute towards discovery sessions to understand the problems to be solved working towards understanding the correct solutions that contribute to our business objectives
• Feature definition: Working with the other Product Managers you will help define the features to be developed in the form of writing User Stories. You will work with designers to ensure that the solutions are user centres and will liaise with stakeholders to ensure that the solutions deliver the expected outcomes.
• Prioritisation: Working within the OKR framework to align and prioritise against set business objectives you will make data informed decisions that ensure speed-to-market for features that deliver high value to our customers and business
• User Focus: Ensuring that our users are always at the heart of our product.
• Working effectively with all other disciplines and stakeholders required to bring user-centric products to life, delivering value to our users as soon as possible through iterative development

Required Experience:

• Work with the Product team to identify and analyse opportunities to improve our products in ways that will deliver significant user value and align to our quarterly objectives
• Working with UX, identify and create ideas for product discovery that are validated and those that are deemed to deliver value taken forward for the Product backlog
• Working with the Product Leads to deliver user stories for features that have been prioritised on our Product backlog that are aligned with our business objectives
• Working with the Quality Assurance (QA) engineers to ensure that acceptance criteria is fully captured and understood for each user story produced
• Work effectively in an agile environment to deliver product increments and ensure that requirements are met
• Effectively communicates with and manages stakeholders throughout the development process always ensuring expectations are being set and understood

Your Skills and Experience

• 1+ years of Product Management experience or working within a Product development team that is ready to transition.
• Working on a SaaS enabled marketplace platform which has a focus on staff scheduling and management is a bonus.
• Commercial experience, and understands the business value of solving our user’s problems.
• Experience making data-informed decisions, and is able to adopt data tools eg Sisense (formerly Periscope Data) and Google Analytics
• Comfortable in communicating with senior stakeholders
• Working closely with UX, QA and engineering within a fast-paced product-led business
• Finding ways to contribute to continuously improve our product management process
• Comfortable with flexible and changing priorities
• A highly collaborative, visible and inclusive approach
• Solid skill and style in verbal and written communications

Benefits

Full-time role with 24 days holidays, good pay and potential for bonus based on business success. A laptop is negotiable and we are keen to have at least annual meet-ups (COVID dependant!). We’ll be looking to grow the team further so opportunity to bring in some of your friends/ contacts.
