Their team is an amazing group of people that deeply care for one another. They are collaborative, fun, nerdy, geeky, and intensely committed to doing a great job for the clients they serve. As a fully remote team, they organise regular meetings where the team can just hang out and talk to each other.

Also, they are holding their 1st ever company retreat in Florida in about 10 days where they plan to do some training, but also plan to invest in the team, building strong relationships and bonds that will carry on when they are back home working remotely!

Blue Tangerine is currently looking for a mid-level PPC Specialist to be in charge of successfully implementing the PPC Strategy for a group of clients. This is a full-time role, and you’ll be expected to have at least 3-4 hours of overlap with the EST time zone.

Within this role, you will get to work with a variety of clients from eCommerce to Homebuilder Lead Gen. This is a great opportunity to learn about different types of businesses and the different ways of achieving success for each client. While the primary job is to implement strategies, there will be ample opportunity to recommend new strategies or techniques to achieve the client's goals.

More specifically, within this role, you will be responsible for:

✅ Junior Tasks (under direct supervision)

  • Keyword Research
  • Negative Keyword Research & Implementation
  • Feed Setup & Management
  • Analysis of the data (understanding the metrics and levers by device, by keywords)
  • Loading the display ads (assets) - which will evolve to loading ads
  • Creating/executing audience development
  • Checking for alerts (adcore, Google Merchant Center, etc.)
  • Validating existing campaign setups
  • Assisting in writing site links
  • Working in Google Ads, Bing Ads & Google Analytics

✅ Mid-Level (as you start to assert independence)

  • Implementing the campaign buildouts and validation
  • Bidding management & implementation
  • Writing ad copy (with review)
  • Implementing account strategy (budgets)
  • Implementing testing plans and evaluation of the results
  • Assistsing with account onboarding
  • Feed Management
  • Implementing 3rd party tool integration (BazaarVoice, Email Platforms, etc)
  • Creating Reports (Data Studio, Excel - Pivot Tables, Advanced Formula Creation)
  • Working in Google Ads, Bing Ads, Google Analytics, Criteo, etc.
  • Reviewing work of junior resources
  • Making recommendations on program improvements

The first few weeks will include certification testing, learning the time-tracking processes, and spending a lot of time shadowing the team to learn more about what they do and how they do it. You’ll also receive training on methodologies, implementation and strategies. During the second month on the job, you will start fulfilling the implementation duties on specific accounts, and by the third month, some additional accounts will be added to the mix based on the progress made in the second month.

There are weekly team meetings to go over accounts, questions, and additional training. The new hires will also be directed to specific industry-related sites to research/learn and talk about what's going on. The tools you’ll need to use are Office 365 suite, Sharepoint and Microsoft Teams, as well as the online time tracking tool Intervals.

To excel in this role, you need:

  • 3-5 years of experience managing campaigns, budgets, and implementing product feeds
  • Experience in the eCommerce retail space
  • Experience with Google Ads and Google Ads Editor
  • Experience with Microsoft Ads
  • Understanding of Google Shopping and how to leverage data feeds in an eCommerce environment
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Strong Excel & Data skills

Brownie points for experience with Criteo or other 3rd party retargeting tools, programmatic advertising, geofencing, Facebook/Instagram Ads or Pinterest Ads!

→ Team Player. If another team member is struggling and you have the ability to help, always lend a hand in identifying a solution to get past the hurdle. You also need to interact with the team and not just be the silent person that doesn't engage with the team.

→ Proactive. If you see an opportunity or a challenge, then raise the issue or offer a suggestion before the opportunity passes.
