Position Responsibilities:
- Develop new functionality at all levels of the software stack including: API integrations, platform UI elements, administration components, etc.
- Create unit tests for your various components.
- Work with our design team to develop UX maps and product requirements.
- Follow an agile scrum model to your software development.
- Work with QA and Business Analysts on scenario testing and bug fixing.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years experience developing in PHP, HTML, JavaScript and CSS. At least 3 years experience with the full lifecycle of high volume production web applications.
- Experience in creating PHP framework plugins, WordPress, OSClass or similar.
- Experience with database schema design and administration.
- Experience in object oriented programming with a language such as PHP5, Python, Java, or Objective-C.
- Proficiency with UNIX like environments.
- Experience with configuring Apache and/or NGINX.
- Worked with multiple data interchange formats such as XML, JSON
- Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- BS or BA in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Pluses: Experience developing with MVC PHP frameworks (e.g. CodeIgniter, CakePHP) Experience with Python Experience with the creation and consumption of web services Experience with git Experience with Jira / Atlassian products
