I am a the owner of JobRack looking for a personal assistant to help me run my life. I am looking for someone who is available for an average of 4 hours daily five days per week (flexible) and is happy to help me with everything from book-keeping to travel bookings to research and a whole lot more too!
I have a complicated life! I run two businesses, I travel, I'm very active, I like to have fun, so it's time to get someone to help me with some of these things and help me with the day to day running of life.
I also have lots of friends and clients that also want personal/virtual/executive assistants so if even if you're not successful in becoming my assistant there's lots more opportunities for similar roles too, we're always looking for great assistants for great business owners all over the world.
Which qualities should you have?
There are a few qualities and character traits that are imperative for this role:
You’re super organized and know how to organize files, folders and information for ease of retrieval
A firm believer in the 80/20 rule; you are good at identifying the most important tasks to work on and see the big picture
Good at figuring things out. This is a big one. The perfect candidate gets great joy from coming up with clever solutions for problems. If you don't know something you google it!
Nearly fluent written and spoken English required
Passionate about learning new things
Great with numbers and financials.
What will you do?
Helping with travel needs: Helping with finding the best options of flights & accommodations & trips and anything in between which is related to travel.
Managing personal purchases and orders and chasing deliveries
Doing research on a wide variety of topics. From personal, to business topics.
Preparing presentations in Powerpoint.
Recording some costs and doing some light bookkeeping
From time to time calling different companies, to arrange meetings or ask for specific requests.
Any other varied tasks.
