Our video content ranges from short-form 1-minute ads to long-form 10-minute video sales letters (VSLs) designed to engage audiences and drive conversions. We leverage tools like ARCADS and similar platforms for UGC (User-Generated Content) to enhance our video production. Position: Part-Time Video Editor

Job Description

As a part-time video editor, you will be responsible for crafting engaging, high-performing direct response video ads for various platforms. You will work on a range of content, from short-form social media ads to long-form video sales letters (VSLs). Our focus is on producing persuasive, fast-paced videos that drive action, primarily in the supplement space. You’ll collaborate with our creative team to edit, enhance, and optimize content using tools like ARCADS and similar sites for UGC integration. The ideal candidate is an expert in Adobe Premiere and CapCut, understands the fundamentals of direct response marketing, and can work efficiently under deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Edit direct response video ads (1-10 minutes) for supplements in the pet and human space.
  • Create both short-form and long-form videos optimized for platforms like Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok.
  • Utilize ARCADS and similar platforms to enhance videos with UGC elements for better engagement and credibility.
  • Search for and source organic content from YouTube, TikTok, and other platforms to enhance storytelling.
  • Integrate stock footage, UGC clips, and other assets to create compelling videos.
  • Ensure all videos are optimized for conversions, engagement, and brand consistency.
  • Accurately create and sync English captions for all videos to improve accessibility and engagement.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm and execute compelling video concepts.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest video trends, editing techniques, and direct response marketing best practices.

Requirements

  • Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere.
  • Expert-level proficiency in CapCut.
  • Strong ability to create accurate English captions for all video content.
  • Ability to search for and source organic content from YouTube, TikTok, and other platforms.
  • Familiarity with ARCADS and similar UGC platforms.
  • Ability to source and integrate stock footage and UGC content effectively.
  • Must be available and responsive during agreed-upon part-time hours.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Understanding of direct response video marketing principles is a plus.

Bonus Skills

  • Ability to design images in Photoshop and Canva.
  • Experience with motion graphics or After Effects is a plus.
