Hey there JobRackers! Our company is expanding and we’re looking to hire for a new role in our company. The position is "Marketing Manager". This role touches on all aspects of our company’s marketing efforts. The metrics for this job are to increase the number of Quote Inquiries we receive from our target market. (This is NOT a sales job. Instead, this is a position for creating and managing our marketing campaigns!) Needless to say, this job is ideal for somebody who is creative and enthusiastic! Details about you: - You are a creative person who has a passion for working on fun and amazing digital/online marketing campaigns - Knows what GTD is (and can do it!) - Works well independently, is hardworking & dependable Ideal Candidate Position of Marketing Manager: An ideal candidate for this position will be somebody who can look at the big picture of a company’s marketing goals (the strategy) and who can execute on the details (the tactics). Somebody who is technical and who understands how to work with CRM software and email marketing software. Ideally, you will have already done something similar in a past job, but we will train the right person. About Us: Our company design and hosts websites for a niche industry in the US market. We are the 4th largest company in the US that serves this niche and have been in business since 2007. About the Job: This position will start PART-TIME and be 20 hrs a week (therefore 4 hours per day, Monday - Friday). Monthly salary $480 USD/mo (working part-time). Details of Job Duties: (1) You would meeting weekly with the company president to discuss topics for the Content Marketing Strategy and discuss when and where it should be posted. - Topics and Ideas for posting to our weekly blog - Topics for blog posts that can help with long-tail keyword searches - Topics that would be helpful for our current & potential customers - Topics and Ideas that we could send as an email newsletter to our current customers, which talk about enhancements and features to our software, including any bug fixes (this info comes from our Product Manager) - Topics and Ideas to be posted and re-posted on Facebook (2) You would manage the writing & publishing of the Content Marketing Strategy Materials. Note that you DO NOT write the content yourself. Instead, you would provide bullet points to our Writers (who are native English speakers) and have them to the writing for you. - You would manage the work of our Writers - You would manage the work of our Graphic Designers - You would do quality control of the materials created by the Writers and Graphic Designers (3) Manage the Creative Efforts in the Design and Launch of our Marketing Materials, including putting together: - Lead Magnets, which are used to capture email addresses of potential customers - Trip Wires, which are used to establish a small financial transaction with a new potential customer - Postcards, which are sent to potential customers in our sales sequence - Facebook Ads, which are used to promote various parts of our marketing campaigns - Landing Pages, which are used as an entry point for potential customers - Sales Emails, which are used to communicate with current and potential customers. (Note that you would not be writing these emails yourself, instead you would hand the work to our Writers and manage the quality) (4) Day-to-day tactics of managing the marketing activities. Since this a technical role, you would also be reponsible for: - Updating contact details in CRM & Marketing Automation Software - Adding lists of contacts to our Cold Email Sequences - Provide a Dashboard to show Campaign Effectiveness and Costs - Managing the software that handles our email marketing for Cold Email Marketing and our CRM software. - Adding content to our WordPress blog & site - Building Landing pages in WordPress for the various marketing campaigns - Posting items to our Facebook page - Posting ads to Facebook Things that you do not have to do in this job: - You do not need to replying directly to customers via email with sales related info. We have a sales manager who does this. - You do not need to be a writer for this job. We have Writers who can do this.
