Paid Media Specialist [CLOSED]

Full Time 15.00 - 20.00 USD Type: Hourly

Newfangled is a B2B business development agency compiled of focused digital marketing experts. Our clients are primarily small-to-medium-sized creative firms, digital shops, etc. and our marketing solutions leverage the power of content marketing, email marketing, and paid media working together. We measure the success of our clients’ marketing initiatives by tracking conversion and event activity on their websites with the ultimate goal of driving leads for their business. All activity is tracked through Newfangled’s proprietary reporting software, the Insight Engine.

Our market awareness is exceptional & we are a stable business; Newfangled is a team of 30 in the US plus a growing remote team in Eastern Europe. We choose to work with clients who appreciate and value our work. The Newfangled team is fully remote and have developed a strong culture as a remote organization.

Newfangled is looking for a Paid Media Specialist who will specifically support the paid media team. They will work alongside the Director of Paid Media and three Paid Media Strategists.

As Newfangled’s new Paid Media Specialist, you will support the daily activities of the paid media team including:

  • Keyword and/or competitor research on the Google Ads platform, as well as supporting tools like SpyFu and SEMRush
  • Target audience research on the LinkedIn Ad platform
  • Google Ads and LinkedIn campaign setup, including ad groups, audiences, budgets, creatives, locations, etc.
  • Optimizing existing campaigns - reviewing opportunities to improve current account performance by looking at search term reports, bidding strategy opportunities, recommendations provided by the platforms, etc.
  • Writing and optimizing ad copy across Google Ads and LinkedIn
  • Supporting monthly reporting calls - helping pull together KPIs through the ad platforms, Google Analytics, and the Insight Engine to highlight performance
  • Supporting with conversion and event tracking setup
  • Supporting with the creation and testing of landing pages specifically for our paid ad campaigns

Candidates need to have worked in B2B marketing and are required to have previous agency (internal or external) or relevant paid media experience.

As our successful candidate, you will have:

  • 3-5 years of B2B paid media experience
  • Experience working in the Google Ads and LinkedIn platforms - both setting up and running/optimizing paid campaigns on an ongoing basis
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics and the ability to analyze insights and pull together meaningful reports
  • Strong written skills - ability to formulate ad copy that converts

Bonus:

  • Experience creating landing pages for paid media campaigns
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics 4 (G4)
