Outreach Coordinator [CLOSED]

Big Built is a fully remote digital marketing agency for a national veterans disability law firm. They also invest in affiliate marketing projects, creating & promoting excellent content.

With only three people on the team, Big Built competes against some of the biggest companies in the business and can proudly state that they often outrank large national publications in their niche!

Right now, the team consists of:

Chad → Operations Manager, based in Washington, DC

Eric → Director of Marketing & SEO Expert, based in Pittsburgh, PA

With weekly online meetings, the team works fully remotely. They have developed a series of great processes that help them on a daily basis, and encourage experimenting and improving the way they work.

Big Built is currently looking for an Outreach Coordinator to support the marketing efforts. As list building is a big part of the job, you’ll be doing a lot of research, and there is also the salesmanship aspect of emailing and communicating with other website owners.

More specifically, within this role, you will:

• Conduct research & identify good placement opportunities vs poor ones
• Build lists of potential websites that can be included in the current outreach campaigns & gather their contacts
• Build campaigns in Pitchbox
• Use a script to pitch a potential use of statistic/placement/guest posts
• Communicate with clients (send initial, follow-up and final emails)
• Report on results every week
• Identify areas of improvement

This is a full-time role, with ideal working hours between 8 AM and 5 PM EST. However, the hours will be flexible as projects develop and you will have some flexibility as long as the communication happens within a reasonable amount of time. You will have minimal training, as you’ll be expected to understand the tools and objectives, and hit the ground running. At the same time, you’ll be able to take ownership of the role and work within a great team for a competitive salary.

To be a successful candidate, you need:

• Experience with link building / outreach campaigns for other companies or agencies, having been responsible for the project outcome
• Experience with Pitchbox (or similar software)
• Experience with Ahrefs
• Knowledge of Excel / Google sheets
