About the role / Requirements / What success looks like

Entrepreneurs HQ is looking for an Operations Manager to help improve our service, manage the teams and make the company more profitable.

Within this role, you will:

  • Take our vision and turn it into reality
  • Solve problems before the CEO is even aware of them
  • Manage our internal team and clients so the CEO is no longer the bottleneck freeing him up to grow the company.
  • Put into use years of your operations and marketing experience, as well as project management experience
  • Profitably run the business based on repeatable systems that you create and innovate and then train the team to follow
  • Improve the quality for clients as we scale
  • Proactively seek ways to increase profits
  • Create meaningful KPIs and ensure they’re consistently being met
  • Take the lead and hold weekly meetings with team members
  • Manage the marketing, operations, and the fulfillment team
  • Manage the team’s personal goals, improve their performance & quality of work
  • Spearhead projects & hold the team accountable
  • Improve services & reduce churn
  • Build out more SOPs, systems and procedures to improve our services & profitability
  • Identify areas of improvement in the current workflows and provide recommendations to boost efficiency
  • Report to the CEO and interact with the whole team

Within this exciting and dynamic role, you’ll be working fully remotely with a talented and ambitious team of people who love doing what they do. You’ll play an important role within the organization, at the same time contributing to a future where more entrepreneurs can make a bigger impact.

During the first few weeks, you’ll learn more about how the company operates and come up with a plan on how to implement the founder’s vision. The team counts on your experience and you’ll be expected to hit the ground running, but you’ll have full support from the CEO.

This is a full-time position, and you’ll need to have a minimum of 4 hours of overlap with American teams working within CST time zones.

Start date 9th January.

About you / What you will bring to the table

To be a successful candidate, you need:

  • 2+ years of strategic operations experience
  • 2+ years of digital marketing experience
  • Operations & project management experience making a significant contribution to the success of a high-growth business
  • Experience with hiring at least 4 A-Players in your organisation with KPIs consistently met at 95%+
  • Knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
  • Knowledge of project management tools (e.g. ClickUp, Trello, Keap)
  • Brownie points for having a BA or an MA in a related field, and/or business coaching experience
  • Eagerness to take ownership and autonomy; you aspire to grow to a COO within 1-2 years

This role will play an integral part in growing the business, so it’s important that you’re a self-starter and a team player who can hold yourself and others accountable. You also need to have a positive attitude and get along well with others, with the ability to read people well, as you’ll be assisting with hiring and making sure every new member of the team is a good fit.

  • Flexible working hours with a mandatory overlap between 1PM and 6PM CET Monday to Friday (8 hours)
