We’re hiring a driven and motivated Operations Manager, who is highly experienced in running the daily operations of an education startup and keen on helping marketers discover the power of data!

Who we are

MeasureSchool was founded by Julian Juenemann, a Digital Analytics geek, Technical Marketer, and YouTuber in 2015. It has since grown to a small but tight-knit team of 7.

We pride ourselves on being the prime destination for 150k+ marketers passionate about learning tracking, analytics, and technical marketing skills.

The role

We’re looking for a data-driven and motivated Operations Manager, with experience in managing people, processes and plans, as well as an interest in Digital Marketing.

As an operations manager, you’ll work alongside the founder (Julian) to execute the vision and reach our ambitious goals.

Our whole team will be looking to you for guidance as you will oversee several departments to bring our company’s vision into reality and make something from nothing.

We currently use the methodologies popularized in the book Traction and organize our goals as OKRs.

The ideal candidate will be able to build on what we already have, as well as introduce fresh ways to make our work more efficient & effective.

To be upfront, this role will be demanding as it will require excellent coordination, persistence, and resourcefulness for you to be successful.

Some of the things you’ll be working on 👷‍♀️:

• Creating project plans, allocating resources & managing projects from start to finish.
• Tracking and reporting on projects, identifying blockers & issues before they occur.
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time and to budget.
• Build systems and processes (SOPs) to help us scale, ensuring that we are operating efficiently.
• Providing constructive feedback to team members.
• Hiring new team members.

Requirements

Some of what you will need for this role 💪:

• Full-time availability in an European time zone.
• Minimum 1 year operations management experience.
• A track record of successful project execution.
• Experience working with project management tools (Trello, Jira, Asana, ClickUp, Monday etc).
• Strong business & financial awareness of Key Performance Metrics.
• Exemplary time management.
• Excellent written & verbal English communication skills.
• Open and assertive communication style for giving feedback, praise and collaborating with partners.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies & ways of working.
• Ability to create structure in ambiguous situations and design effective processes & SOPs.

Interest or experience with project management in an agency or startup environment would be highly advantageous.
