About the company

We are building innovative e-commerce brands, with Galartsy as of our main projects, an exciting fashion brand that turnes fine art into Fashion. As we continue to expand, we're also developing new brands in different industries, always aiming for growth and creativity. We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join our team and help guide our operations as we scale.

About the role

Operations Manager for Growing E-commerce Brands

Location: Fully Remote
Job Type: Full-Time (~40-50 hours per week, Monday through Friday)
Schedule: Flexible, usually operating in GMT+1
Compensation: Competitive salary with growth potential and bonuses based on performance
Paid Trial Period

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Building & Leadership: Recruit and build teams, assign tasks, set deadlines, and guide the team to success. Maintain smooth delivery coordination across departments and ensure high levels of performance and accountability.
  • Systems & Processes: Create and improve operational systems and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to streamline all processes, measure performance, and ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Operations Management: Ensure all operations are cost-effective and efficient. Oversee the day-to-day running of the business with a focus on maintaining quality while scaling.
  • Performance Evaluation & Bonuses: Develop evaluation metrics and bonus systems to ensure measurable performance and hold every team member accountable. Set clear goals, deadlines, and milestones.
  • Team Performance Monitoring: Analyze metrics related to various team functions including design, content creation, customer support, and social media engagement.
  • Talent Recruitment & Training: Identify gaps in the team and recruit the necessary talents. Onboard new team members and ensure they align with the company’s vision and culture. Develop training programs to enhance skills where needed.
  • Cross-Departmental Coordination: Foster smooth communication between departments, ensuring tasks move efficiently from one stage to the next, and deadlines are respected.
  • Problem-Solving: Step in to solve issues and propose solutions in place of the CEO. Continually identify opportunities for improvement that align with the company’s vision.
  • Customer Feedback Management: Gather and analyze feedback from emails and social media to improve products, services, and offers.
  • Budgeting & Financial Management: Manage team salaries, bonuses, and other operational costs. Create forecasts to improve profitability.
  • Strategic Collaboration with the CEO: Work closely with the CEO to translate the company’s vision into actionable objectives, communicating the brand’s core values and culture to the team.

 

About you

To Excel in This Role, You Should Have:

  • 5+ years of experience as an Operations Manager, or similar, with a proven track record.
  • Knowledge of organisational effectiveness and operations management.
  • Experience in the e-commerce industry.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Leadership ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
  • Outstanding organisational and multitasking skills.
  • A sense of humour and a friendly attitude (a must!).

Bonus Points For:

  • Fashion experience and knowledge.
  • A love for art and creativity.
  • Experience with media buying, so you can understand the metrics and needs of our media buyers.
