About the role

Attention Operations Managers! We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced operations leader to join our client’s team. As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for setting and upholding organisational goals, managing KPI’s, running meetings, hiring and training new team members, and overseeing the development of systems and processes.

In this role, you will motivate team members to achieve objectives by creating a positive environment that encourages high performance. You must also have excellent communication skills in order to effectively link different teams and stakeholders throughout the organisation. Furthermore, you will analyse current operations to identify gaps in efficiency while developing effective solutions to address these issues.

We are looking for someone with strong organisational skills who is able to think critically and pay attention to detail. Candidates should also possess a firm understanding of operations management principles as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  1. Team Management:
    • Evaluate the performance of team members, contractors, and vendors
    • Evaluate hiring needs as the company grows, and oversee the process to replace and hire new team members
    • Onboard new team members and champion retention and team engagement through People Operations techniques
  2. Project Management:
    • Research and select a Project Management Tool
    • Pioneer the build and team adoption of the PMT
    • Manage all projects for both companies, delegating tasks to the appropriate team members and vendors, keeping the timelines of each project on schedule
    • Stay aware of delivery and client success to make sure everything stays on track
  3. Process Improvement: 
    • Set KPI’s and business objectives for each department/function, build an accountability system, and hold regular team meetings to ensure growth and improvement over time
    • Evaluate the current/existing systems and processes
    • Update processes in need of improvement and create new processes for those SOP’s not yet documented
    • Upgrade systems as-needed to reflect current business and client needs
    • Search out opportunities for time-saving through technology
  4. Administrative: 
    • Oversee the administrative functions of the business, including the sending and signing of client and vendor agreements, the storage of company IP, content, sales data, and all other company assets
    • Directly manage the operations and administrative needs in the day-to-day running of the business

Must-Have:

  • Ability to work at an extremely fast pace with competing priorities
  • Previous experience in an Operations Management role, including managing a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong competency in project management
  • Quick learner with a think-on-your-feet attitude
  • A commitment to high standards, excellence, team, and our clients
  • Big bonus: experience managing a remote team

About you

The successful candidate must have strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving capabilities. As well as having a solid understanding of operations and project management principles, you must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written with a proven ability to manage stakeholders across the organisation at all levels.

What's in it for you?

Compensation depends on experience. €3000-€7000 per month, with the details of holiday pay, etc. open to discussion during the hiring process.
