OneRhythm is a full-service marketing agency hyper-focused on helping Nonprofit Cultural Organisations grow their membership base. They unlock 20% year-over-year growth without the guesswork, cultivating happy members who become lifelong supporters. They do this through planning, executing, and analysing integrated (direct mail, email, online) marketing campaigns focused on acquiring, retaining, upgrading, and reactivating members. Clients work with them because they deliver measurable results, provide elite service, and are fun to work with!

The OneRhythm team is collaborative, client-focused, and competent. The company culture is based around respect at all times and they want everyone working with OneRhythm - be that client, employee, contractor, business partner, or vendor - to genuinely WANT to work with them. They believe in win-win and making the pie bigger for everyone. The team is serious about getting things done, but they are also fun and creative. If you like to work hard and play hard then you will fit in at OneRhythm!

At the moment, the OneRhythm team is looking for an Operations Manager to support the agency’s continued growth by focusing on managing and improving operations, assessing the current state, identifying & prioritising operational gaps, and coming up with creative ideas and solutions the team can readily implement. This is an exciting and dynamic opportunity where your key focus will be to:

1️⃣Take the company vision and guide the team to turn the vision into reality by setting clear expectations on the roles, responsibilities and performances of the team members

2️⃣Solve problems and propose solutions in place of the CEO, as well as identify the improvements that impact company vision

3️⃣Profitably run the business on repeatable systems and lead the team in creating and innovating those systems

4️⃣Improve quality and value proposition for clients as the company scales

5️⃣Continually and proactively look for ways to increase profits, particularly by looking for force multipliers that get more out of the same effort

6️⃣Manage the team in place of the CEO so he can focus on continuing to grow the agency without being a bottleneck

The role comes with a huge scope for development and financial reward for the right person; you will join a growing marketing agency and make a real impact on the company's success.

More specifically, within this role, you will:

  • Ensure all operations are carried out in an appropriate and cost-effective manner

  • Find ways to increase the quality of customer service;
  • Work with the CEO to communicate the company vision, core values, and culture
  • Streamline the marketing & sales process to attract our ideal clients
  • Help the company’s processes remain legally compliant

As you join the company, you will have organised training which will primarily consist of learning the specifics of OneRhythm; however, the team counts on your experience and expertise, and you will be expected to hit the ground running in the first few weeks by assessing the current operational state, meeting with all the team members individually and in groups to identify operational gaps, prioritise opportunities for improvement, and develop SOPs.

  • Outstanding organisational skills
  • A sense of humour; this is a must! :)

Brownie points for:

  • Degree in Business, Operations Management or a related field

The ideal candidate is:

  • A self-starter who is motivated and takes ownership
  • Analytical and able to use those skills to improve processes and systems, as well as create and deliver solutions
  • Tenacious with the grit to drive change, especially in the face of opposition
  • Emotionally intelligent, i.e., able to create relationships built on trust; you are a good and persuasive communicator and open to personal development
  • Collaborative, client-focused and a team player
  • Respectful and professional towards the team members, business partners, vendors and clients
  • Passionate about creating, innovating, and optimising systems and processes with an eye towards growth and profitability

What’s in it for you?

  • $3000 - $4000* per month based on your experience
  • Fully remote and full-time position ~ 40 to 50 hours per week Monday through Friday
  • Flexible working schedule; OneRhythm usually operates between 9 AM - 6 PM PST, but internal meetings can be organised at a different time as long as you communicate clearly :)

  • Regular performance reviews to set expectations and goals
  • Salary increase opportunities based on contributions to company growth
  • Huge scope for professional growth that comes with joining a team at an early stage
