We are hiring and Office Administrator to join the Syntax Technologies team. If you're hard-working and dedicated, Syntax Technologies is an excellent place to grow your career. We are looking for an experienced Office Administrator who will be responsible to learn about Syntax’s services and connect with consumers to solve their problems and help the office staff. Among others, tasks include assisting and supporting the current staff, be a lesion between the customers (students) and the administrator and maintain proper documentation and data.

Job Responsibilities

The main responsibilities of the Office Administrator in Syntax revolve around the ability to assist and support the administrators and serve as a liaison with the students:

  • Assist the Office Administrator Manager, the COO, and other executives on the office administrative work, including but not limited to daily tasks, agendas, travel arrangements, and appointments
  • Administer and coordinate office activities and operations
  • Support budgeting and bookkeeping
  • Create and manage databases, documents, reports, and presentations in Excel, Word, and Power Point, by collecting data, managing emails, and doing research as necessary
  • Respond to telephones, emails, and messages
  • Create student contracts and follow up with them, including getting feedback about the course
  • Assist students with their needs by giving them the right access to materials, coursework, and digital platforms (Zoho, Slack, Canvas, Zoom, Drive)
  • Assist instructors with their needs by giving them the right access to materials, coursework, and digital platforms (Zoho, Slack, Canvas, Zoom, Drive)
  • Manage the placement process and collect placement fees from alumni
  • Manage the website functions and social media platforms as necessary
  • Perform other tasks as asked by the executive management and customer support level

Job Requirements

  • Proven work experience as an Office Administrator
  • Hands-on experience with various sales/CRM programs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and critical thinking skills
  • Experience in the continual development of lead pipelines and follow ups
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Comfortable making decisions independently and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable to work remotely
  • Familiar with the IT market in the US, Europe, and Russia is a plus
