Marketing Manager - Beyond Dracula [CLOSED]

Beyond Dracula is an incoming travel agency in Romania. We want to get seasoned international travellers to experience the beauty and richness of Romania by providing exceptional travel services and curated itineraries. In other words, we're about creating wonderful memories for those who venture to discover the hidden corners of Romania, its people, and its culture.

We’re lucky to live and work in Romania, a land not yet considered a mainstream destination with plenty of hidden gems: from its sights to its landscapes, and most importantly, to its people. As the only truly bespoke travel agency in Romania, we are in the business of making sure that every one of our guests leaves the country with lots of great stories and memories worth telling.

We are a partnership of three (one Italian and two Romanians) and have been around since 2012. Our operational team consists of three women based in Timisoara. As mothers (two are still on maternity leave) we cherish flexibility above all else. Our relationship is based on trust and a common strive for excellence, and we are a company where our team members get and give more than a job and an income. We wish to increase our revenue in sales & for that, we are hiring a new Marketing Manager to take our marketing to a next level and help us achieve more.

As our Marketing Manager, you will:

• Analyse our current marketing efforts
• Find the best ways to increase our sales through marketing
• Come up with the best ways to put these options into action
• Devise a strategic marketing plan and a tactical plan, to the detail of who does what when
• Create and deliver content
• Report to and interact with the CEO

In your first weeks with us, you will have the chance to get to know the team and learn about how we operate. You will also shadow us as we interact with clients and partners, etc. to understand more about the business.

Tasks are usually assigned through Asana, however, we also use Slack, Whatsapp & email.

As our successful candidate, you need to have:

• Proven track record of success of sales-generating ideas and solutions
• Knowledge of technical marketing-related practices ( e.g. SEO, analytics, etc.)
• Experience using Direct and Social Media to gain visibility & increase sales
• An eye for aesthetics and quality, attention to detail and excellent written English
• Entrepreneurial potential
