Marketing Coordinator (fully remote + fun working culture) [CLOSED]

We're looking for a Marketing Coordinator with at least 1 year of experience in SEO (preferably in link-building) to come on board and help us take our brand to the next level. We are a small marketing agency operating out of the UK providing link-building services to clients all over the world. We're talking cream of the crop, A-grade quality services here with amazing clients doing really cool things in the world.

We typically work with early-stage to Series B -- B2B SAAS companies along with a few special ad-hoc clients. For example one of our recent clients is a play-to-earn metaverse crypto game that just launched a few months ago!

The role:

You'll be working in Operations, assisting our SEO Strategists and Specialists with preparing and delivering client link-building campaigns. This will be focused on prepping Outreach campaigns with a big focus on sourcing websites for guest-posting and other secret strategies we use to land links for our clients. You need to be okay with doing some repetitive work as a fair amount of your time will be spent enriching our lists with new websites and contacts to reach out to.

You will also be expected to backfill for client link-building to cover other team members so we expect you to have some knowledge of building links. More specifically, good working knowledge of anchor text ratios, guest posting, link inserts and link swaps. We have full training and extensive processes to get you up to speed on this sort of thing regardless but any prior relevant experience will certainly help your application.

Another key aspect of this role is the Community Management responsibility. We run a popular Slack community in the SEO space that helps teams get more value of the link-building work they're doing. As a Community Manager, you'll be tasked with recording key linking data, following up on pending member placements and onboarding new people into the community.

Full list of responsibilities include:

- Assisting the Outreach Specialist and SEO Strategist on client link-building campaigns for guest-posting and outreach links

  • Work on ad-hoc outreach strategies
  • Sourcing contacts for guest-posting and outreach campaigns as per our processes
  • Kicking off relevant outreach campaigns
  • Tagging emails for team members in team inboxes
  • Giving a heads up to Outreach Specialists or SEO Strategist on suitable guest post opportunities coming through the community for client link placements

- Working with the SEO Strategist to figure out the plan for outstanding client campaigns between billing periods.

- Community management

  • Reviews shared community member opportunities, recording all link placements
  • Oversees member credits and master sheet tracker tab metrics to ensure fair collaboration between Slack community members
  • Checking live posts for links
  • Follows up with community members to update link status
  • Report on any suspicious or questionable member activity
  • Report on members consistently making bad link placements
  • Maintain working operation of existing tracker sheets for members
  • Point of contact for members that have questions or issues with their tracker sheets

- Community member onboarding

  • Following onboarding process for approved members
  • Welcome new members to the community
  • Creating accounts, tracker sheets and updating the relevant sections in LBP Master

- Reviewing reports for client work to check for errors and ensure it passes our quality assurance process

- Reviewing LBP Master sheet to ensure client links coming from the community have been placed correctly

- Backup support for building client links

- Backup support for sales and lead generation administrative tasks

What we're looking for from you:

-- At least 1 year of experience working in a similar Marketing Coordinator position.

– A huge bonus if you have experience in link-building in SEO and if you have previously worked at a digital agency.

-- Ideally, you have experience working in the B2B SAAS space.

-- You can work under pressure to strict deadlines.

-- Your work ethic is second to none, you're happy to go above and beyond to produce an excellent piece of work. You take pride in the quality of your work.

-- You're diligent and meticulous in the way you go about doing things, paying attention to the finer details.

-- You're good at prioritising tasks (very important) and planning out client work in an efficient way.

-- You can work with minimal supervision (we're not the micro-managing type) and are super proactive.

-- You have content marketing experience and understand the importance of both on-site and off-site strategy when it comes to rankings.

– An excellent grasp of the English language, both written and spoken, you've gotta be good.

– You can write exceptionally well. You understand the subtle nuances of the English language.

– You have creative problem-solving skills, you enjoy tackling complex problems and figuring them out.

– You're curious by nature and you love discovering new ways of doing things.

– You love using tools and technology to your advantage.

-- You have an eagerness to learn and develop yourself professionally.

– You are available to work full-time hours.
