Marketing Assistant & Itinerary Planner [CLOSED]

Hello! My name is Ala and I am the Director of Marketing for Exeter International. Even though Exeter is headquartered in the US, I am based in Europe.

Exeter International has been arranging the very best custom vacations in Russia, Central & Eastern Europe, Scandinavia, and Central Asia for nearly 30 years. We are recognized for our exceptional expertise in our destinations. I am seeking an assistant who will report to me. The position involves two roles, the primary role involves uploading and creating content for our website and other third party B2B websites and content. The secondary role involves assisting with the planning of customized travel to Croatia, Montenegro, Slovenia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, and Serbia.

The right Candidate will possess:

• A genuine passion for travel within Europe.
• An understanding and experience of a client-focused sales approach.
• A positive and energetic approach, with a willingness to push your comfort zone in sales.
• A natural communicator with an ability to build relationships.
• A willingness to learn and a proactive approach in doing so.
• You must have a passion for providing something extraordinary.
• A self-starter attitude with a confident, enthusiastic, and personable nature.
• Show initiative and be inquiring in nature.
• Have experience in the travel industry – either in hotels, travel agency or tour operator. Experience in the luxury sector preferred.
• Have a genuine interest in people.
• Able to work alone and within a team.

You are a perfect for for this job if you have:

• Strong IT skills including good knowledge of all MS office programs and WordPress.
• Excellent English language skills.
• Outstanding efficiency and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and a positive, proactive approach to work. The ability to prioritize duties and good time management are essential.
• Willingness to develop strong product knowledge and a passion for all things related to our destinations of expertise its culture, regional gastronomy, artistic heritage, and historical sights (not hard)!
• A team player as well as a strong ability to use initiative and take ownership for completing tasks whilst coping with a fast-paced office and remote colleagues and team members.
• Be able to communicate effectively at all levels.
