About the role

Untapped is looking for our next team member - a highly motivated,  creative and tech-savvy Marketing Assistant. The Marketing Assistant will work closely with our Marketing Manager, Dalaney to support the planning, execution, and optimization of our Untapped marketing efforts and campaigns so the company can grow and expand it’s impact and presence. 

This is a dynamic role and a fantastic opportunity for someone who is eager to learn all areas of marketing and grow into the Marketing Manager for our company. Beyond this it is a chance to work at a successful company that will train you and help you develop new skills, as well as facilitate your personal growth and leadership skills.

More specifically, within this role, you will:

Planning & Marketing Strategy Support: 

• Work closely with the Marketing Manager to assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including email, social media, and paid ads.
• Support the planning and project execution of online marketing for Untapped offerings.
• Conduct research on industry trends and competitor activity to inform marketing strategy.
• Where applicable establish A/B testing processes to test creative design, content and improve performance.
• Support with translating market research insights to our Untapped marketing efforts

Content Creation:

• Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to create engaging content for our website, podcast and other marketing materials.
• Create digital assets using Canva for Untapped Offerings and following Untapped guidelines 
• Edit, design and curate video content for promotional purposes (including testimonials & video training materials) 
• Repurpose content from webinars, Untapped podcast and ensure shared across all platforms  

Data Reporting & Systems

• Track all marketing metircs and report to Marketing Manager with data reports and updates
• Assist with the analysis of marketing campaign data to identify areas for improvement and optimization
• Create marketing campaign de-briefs and collaborate with team to extract lessons learned and next steps actions
• Create and update Standard Operating Procedures for Untapped content creation, marketing processes and systems 

Social Media Management: 

• Help manage the company's social media accounts and respond to customer inquiries
• Retrieve content and source inspiration for social media strategy
• Monitor social media trends, and engagement opportunities and adjust strategy accordingly. 
• Use Untapped brand guidelines to create content and schedule posts
• Track, report and monitoring social media analytics 

Email Marketing: 

• Create, setup and schedule email marketing campaigns using tools such as Zapier and Active Campaign
• Design creative assets required for email marketing campaigns
• Create email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and drive conversions
• Assist in setting up and updating marketing automations
• Manage Active Campaign customer database and pull insights for sales team 

Website/Landing Page Management:

• Draft Untapped web pages using templates 
• Design creative assets for Untapped offering pages 
• Update video collateral and testimonials on Untapped pages 
• Use Chat GPT for website/landing page copy
• Keep Untapped website and course pages up to date and relevant 
• Drafting and editing blogs for website
• Implementing actions from SEO support 

Paid Ads Management:

• Create Ads Campaigns with Marketing Manager
• Track data for Untapped Ads account and manage allocated Ads budget 
• Adjust and iterate Ads with Marketing Manager strategy support 

As you join the company, you will have access to the Standard Operating Procedures in relation to marketing. You will be given training and upskilling on world-class marketing principles and content creation so you can grow in your skills. 

You will have a number of training sessions in your first few weeks at the company, as well as a weekly check-in call for questions. In your first few weeks, you will review the Untapped Values, learn more about the Untapped Ways of Working, and review & familiarise yourself with the Untapped Marketing systems. 

 

About you

To excel in this role, you need to have:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in a marketing role, preferably in online service industry.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including email marketing, social media, and PPC advertising.
• Experience with marketing reporting and analytics.
• Excellent English skills, both written and spoken
• Good tech knowledge and understanding of automation - see systems outline below
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Creative skills and an eye for design and copywriting.
• Strong organisational skills and time management - ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem solving skills and a can-do attitude. 
• Willingness to get stuck in and execute things quickly as required. 
• Self-motivated and eager to learn and grow within the marketing field
• Willingness to work with an overlap with GMT
