I'm looking to hire a talented marketing assistant to join my tiny but mighty team. This is an ideal role for someone who is detail-oriented and loves the research side of copywriting.
You’ll work closely with me - the founder - and be given the tools and support you need to make an impact.
For the right candidate, this gig offers steady work each month and a ton of growth opportunities.
To succeed in this role, you must have a growth mindset, be reliable (i.e You do what you say you are going to do) and be results-oriented.
What you will be doing:
- Working on internal sales, marketing, and copywriting research projects
- Helping with internal project management tasks
- Editing and scheduling social media updates
- Uploading and formatting new blog posts in Wordpress
- You’re organized - You love building out and executing systems, processes and plans.
- You're reliable - You do what you say you are going to do. You never miss deadlines.
- You’re coachable - You actively solicit feedback.
- You are self-motivated - You are naturally driven and able to work independently. If a problem arises, you take responsibility for it instead of making excuses or placing blame.
- You're comfortable communicating over Slack, Loom, and Zoom.
Nice to haves:
- Familiar with Wordpress and Zapier
- 2+ years of remote work experience
Flexibility - I don’t care when you work as long as you are available for at least 1 hour between 10am - 7pm CST each weekday and meet your deadlines.
Steady retainer - You’ll be paid on a hourly rate to start. $8 - $20 per hour, depending on your experience. Roughly 10-15 hours per week to start.
