Looking for a talented web/UX designer to design website layouts. If you are a firstly a programmer/coder do not bother applying. I am looking strictly for high-end designers.

I would start by hiring you on a per job basis, but if things work out great, would provide you with more work over time. We build simple WordPress websites from existing themes. I love great design and smart marketing. I have high standards for design, an eye for detail, and love smart marketing. I'm down-to-earth, have a good sense of humour and a people person. I respect the freelancers I work with and always pay on time. Your role would require you to: - work from a client's established logo & colors to establish a clean & modern look & feel for their new website. You would be working from a pre-existing home page template (so changing colours, creating graphics, styling photos into design, etc). - design rest of site templates to match with the new brand style you established for the home page - design page elements & styles to match with new brand colors (like headings, bullets/numbered lists, pullquotes, etc.) - use photos provided from client or choose stock photos to integrate into page designs, making them attractive & fit with the design - setup and design landing pages - create graphics for blog posts and blog sidebar banners - optimize images for web (I can train you on doing this) - integrate copy/text, images into pages, style content to look good (using headings, font-sizes column, etc as needed) Required: - very good knowledge of using Photoshop & Illustrator - you pay attention to interface details and are great with typography - fluent speaking/writing in English, excellent communicator, responsible and can deliver on deadlines, you are responsive via email, available to chat (via skype, or Slack) - you are able to follow instructions & processes - you aren't afraid to ask questions when you are unclear on a task or how to accomplish it - you take a client's goals and audience into consideration when designing - you believe a great website is one that is easy to use (great UX), looks professional and clearly communicates the client's message - you are friendly and personable, easy to work with, able to take feedback and criticism - you have experience building websites using WordPress Bonus skills: - you have experience using project management apps like Teamwork, Basecamp or Asana - you have worked with Beaver Builder - SEO knowledge - WordPress & plugin setup knowledge - CSS/HTML coding skills - logo designer If you fit the bill, I would love to hear from you.
