Web Chimpy, a pioneering digital marketing agency, is actively seeking an experienced and talented Full Stack Developer to join our vibrant team. This is a contract/part-time position with a great potential to transition into a full-time role. We are looking for somebody who can help us build out our website infrastructure, as well as create new platforms and automations to make our lives easier and our user experience awesome. The first primary task will be working on our exciting new web platform. Parts of it will include integrating the API's from AI models into our application to make content creation and design effortless.

About the role

As a Full Stack Developer, you will be playing a pivotal role in crafting custom WordPress themes and plugins, creating unique interfaces, working with integrations and third-party REST API's, and harnessing the power of AI-related API's such as OpenAI's GPT 4, Stable Diffusion, etc. 

One of our exciting projects includes a hosted WordPress platform featuring a multitenancy architecture (not multisite) that allows customers to either build websites themselves (self-service) or have us build it for them at an affordable price.

We also plan on creating the functionality we build as plugins (both freemium and paid) along the way, releasing what we build to the world and helping other companies.

About you

Here's what we're looking for in our ideal candidate:

• Proficient in WordPress development, with a strong portfolio showcasing custom themes and plugins.
• Strong experience with PHP, JavaScript (including frameworks like Vue.js or React), CSS, and HTML.
• Extensive knowledge of REST API's and their integrations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills, with a capacity to explain complex concepts in a clear, simple manner.
• Motivated, dedicated, and driven, with a passion for the evolving digital landscape.

Here are some skills that are not required, but would be AMAZING

• Experience (or knowledge) of Multitenancy WordPress architecture
• Experience working with popular AI-related API's
• Experience building WordPress dashboards and automating wordpress site creation via templates
