Looking for a WordPress Developer [CLOSED]
HTML5 CSS3 PHP Mysql / MariaDB Wordpress
We are a growing internet marketing agency who is in need of an extra hand. We are looking for a knowledgable WordPress Developer who is able to build websites, conduct maintenance, and assist with technical support. Job duties are:
- Build websites for clients (design skills is a +)
- Maintain WordPress updates for websites
- Maintain MultiSite Network
- Monitor Uptime and Fix Issues that Come Up
- Monitor Performance and Optimize As Needed
- Optimize Website for PageSpeed
- Make Suggestions on Improving WorkFlow and Processes
- Follow Basic SEO Best Practices (SEO Exp. Not Required)
- Do Basic Website Updates, Adding Pages, Content, Images, Etc.
- Recommend Hosting Solutions (Linux Server Management Experience is a Plus)
- Design & Consult on WordPress Website Setup, Making Recommendations to Improve Performance and Provide Scalability
- On Call Tech Support After Hours (You don't have to work 24/7, but the ability to respond to critical emergencies on weekends is a huge plus)
We are flexible and relatively hands off, so we are looking for a new hire that doesn't require micromanaging. A good candidate will possess the following skills:
- WordPress (Obvi)
- Thorough Knowledge of WordPress Plugins & Themes
- HTML / CSS
- Basic Photoshop
- Basic MySQL
- Basic PHP is a Plus
- Knowledge WordPress Architecture and Designing Scalable Website Networks
- WordPress MultiSite
- Attention to Detail
- Proactive Management Skills
- Linux Server Management is a Plus (Not Required)
Salary / Hourly Rate is negotiable. We want you to get paid what you are worth. This is a temp to perm position and would like a candidate with the ability to work full time eventually. If you are interested in this job, please send a message with answers to the following questions:
