About the role

Do you love project management, systems, and being a team leader? 

Do you have a love for organization but also have an action-oriented attitude?

We’re a leading e-commerce brand in our space and we’re looking for an expert link building operations manager to help us with several tasks. 

Including:

1. Project and people manage all of our link building efforts - this is done in Pitchbox
    
2. Project and people manage all of our content syndication efforts - this is done in ClickUp
    
3. Research and analysis of potential guest posts and link insertions
    
4. Monthly reporting on how the team you are leading is performing 
    
5. Monthly health checks on our email deliverability

We currently send 10,000+ outreach emails a month but we’re looking to up our game and for that, we need you.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to work on a unique project and gain invaluable leadership skills.

About you

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of managing link building operations but more importantly, fits the personality type below:

• Goal oriented
• Systematic
• Team leader

The work can be hard. The role involves you being a team leader and making sure that all of our operations are running smoothly. You must be able to support our link builders and manage them appropriately so they can excel at their jobs.

There will be clear SOPs and systems for you to follow but there is always room for improvement within systems. You'll need to figure out where the bottlenecks are and how they can be removed. 

Our operating principle is “ask for forgiveness, not permission.” 

Being a completely remote team, you can't always wait around for an answer. We're all on different timezones so going out and doing a bit of research on your own to determine the correct course of action goes a long way. We encourage our team to not wait for an answer but rather go and seek it out.

Oh, one more thing, you’ll need to have a good working knowledge of the outdoors. Specifically, firearms and hunting - the more you know, the better as it’ll really come in handy.

Requirements

• 2+ years in a project management role
• 2+ years working with Pitchbox
• Near fluent or better written English
• Alignment with our values
• High attention to detail
• Intelligence, self-motivating, great organizational skills
• A+ Player
• Familiarity with project/task management apps - we use ClickUp
• Independence and entrepreneurship with a results-oriented, self-starter mindset.
• Proactivity, resourcefulness, and decisiveness with the ability to formulate solutions to challenges independently.
