Azure Prism Limited is currently looking for a Lead Graphic Designer to join their team. The potential candidate will have the opportunity to work with a group of creative and dedicated individuals who are passionate about bringing the power of imagination and creativity to life through their products.

As the new member of the team, you will:

• Lead and execute the design strategy for the company
• Use their knowledge of design principles, typography, and colour theory to create visually compelling and effective designs that align with the stationery and toy brands
• Produce designs for covers, inner pages and accessories of stationery products
• Enhance and optimise the imagery of the existing product range
• Lead and mentor a team of designers, helping them to develop their skills and produce high-quality work.

Azure Prism Limited values creativity and innovation and is always looking for new and exciting ways to push the boundaries of design. This means that the new Lead Graphics Designer will have the opportunity to flex their creative muscles and contribute fresh and exciting designs to the product range! Working on a wide variety of products and designs, you will also have the opportunity to stretch your abilities and learn and grow as a designer. There won’t be any specific training as you’ll be expected to have experience in the Adobe Suite.

The first few weeks will consist of:

→ Onboarding and getting to know the products, design processes and projects to work on

→ Coming up with 90-day goals and future plans

→ Assisting with initial concepts of new products and starting to bring these ideas into a design

→ Making improvements to the existing product range

This is a full-time position, and the general working hours are 8 AM to 4 PM UK time. Depending on the country and the time zone of the candidate, the start of the working day can be slightly adjusted.

To excel in this role, you need to have:

→ 2+ years of experience in a design company. The number of years of experience is not the most important as the company values individual talent. If you have 2 years of experience but are very passionate and talented - you could be a great fit! Alternatively, a candidate with 5+ years of experience won’t necessarily be better at what they do :)

→ Ideally, experience in a lead-level design role

→ Excellent illustration skills

→ Excellent skills with all Adobe programmes

→ Familiarity with Asana, Slack, G Suite, and Loom

Brownie points for video creation skills and experience with 3D modelling!

• Someone with leadership skills: The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills and be able to lead and mentor a team of designers. They should be able to set a clear design vision and guide the team towards achieving it!
• Someone with strong attention to detail: The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, and be able to ensure that designs are accurate and consistent with the company's standards and guidelines.
• Someone with excellent written and spoken English skills.
