About the Role

We’re looking for a talented local SEO and GBP specialist to join our expanding team and drive growth for our customers. You will work collaboratively with our other SEO specialist, reporting directly to the CEO and project manager while developing your skills within an established strategic framework. As part of this role, you'll be responsible for executing complex tasks that require attention to detail, carefully monitoring progress, and providing specialized expertise in order to help our clients grow!

As part of the role, you will need to be able to audit a website quickly and GBP listing, then develop actionable tasks for ranking improvement. You will work with other members of the team to complete these tasks.

For the right individual, this role will transition to full-time in the next 3 to 6 months.

You will be responsible for the following:

• Monthly SEO taskwork, including Local SEO Audit and Strategy
• GBP optimization tasks - including google site
• GBP review and posting schedule
• Light website editing
• Updating task management (Click-Up)
• Ongoing Keyword research and monitoring
• Creating SEO Reports
• Managing your SEO clients like it’s your own business on the line
• Attend semi-monthly and monthly team and SEO meetings

Requirements / Skills:

• Ability to work with .htaccess, robots.txt, metadata, site speed optimization
• Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, GSC, GA, and Local SEO tools
• 2+ years of experience with GBP (GMB) optimization
• 3+ years of experience doing Local SEO
• Ability to work with .htaccess, robots.txt, metadata, and site speed optimization.
• Online review optimization and management
• Advanced schema skills
• Citation cleanup and creation
• Basic knowledge of WordPress and a functional understanding of HTML and CSS
• Love and have a huge passion for SEO
• Exceptional ability to think strategically and identify and resolve problems creatively
• 1 hr of overlap with our 9 AM-5 PM EST schedule to make sure that we have time to collaborate
• Fluent written and verbal English is a must
