The investigative journalist we’re looking to add to the team will have two main objectives:

• Carefully research one course at a time.
• Write up your findings clearly and concisely.

You’ll know you’re the right person for this role if you have:

• 2-4+ years of experience as a working journalist
• Excellent written communication skills in English
• An obsession with getting the details right
• A well-honed bullshit detector (some courses we review are quite shady)
• A willingness to ask questions and incorporate feedback
• A bias for being proactive and keeping things moving
• An ability to operate independently and reliably accomplish tasks
• Reliable internet, reliable laptop/desktop computer
• An ability to quickly understand different business models
• Bonus: Experience with Google Docs, ClickUp, Airtable

You’ll be doing:

• Researching each course according to our detailed process.
• Calculating an "Editorial Rating" for each course.
• Writing up your findings for each course using a template.

Technology Used:

• Google Docs
• ClickUp
• Airtable
• Zoom (for training and meetings)
• Screencast recording and sharing software (eg. Loom, Berrycast)
