About Us

Hi! We’re Paintable – the world’s #1 online digital painting school. Founded in 2016, we teach students around the world how to create beautiful artwork using nothing more than a computer and a tablet. In just 3 years, we’ve already helped tens of thousands of students move towards their dream of becoming better artists. You know… the ones that actually get paid for what they do.

About This Role

In this role, you will have two main responsibilities:

  • Managing our communities, by engaging with our students, sparking interesting discussions, and making sure everyone feels welcome.
  • Supporting our students and customers, by answering any questions that come in, whether that’s via email, chat, Instagram DM, or messenger pigeon.

To excel at this job, you must be a self-starter. You don’t just twiddle your thumbs, waiting for work to appear. Instead, you actively seek it out. You work towards your goals, and proactively come up with great ideas to improve our community and make our students happy.

Tasks You'll Be Doing

  • Responding to Zendesk tickets
  • Answering blog post comments on WordPress
  • Update incomplete Stripe payments
  • Update customer support metrics sheet
  • Respond to Kajabi comments
  • Answering Tweets in Zendesk
  • Answer Discord questions
  • Checking Spam folders
  • Handling account issues, refunds, canceling subscriptions
  • Monitor Facebook inbox
  • Deal with Facebook group issues/alerts
  • Manage Facebook group mods
  • Discord development
  • Posting to Facebook and Discord (other than answering questions)

Please Apply If

  • You can provide incredible support to our students, and help them overcome any issues that may arise
  • You're fluent in English and an excellent writer, with a fun, informal, inspiring tone (you'll be the voice of our brand)
  • You have at least a basic understanding of art/painting (you definitely don't have to be an expert, but knowing some basic terms would be good)
  • You have at least 4 hours each weekday (Monday through Friday in your time zone) to commit to supporting our students and our social media communities.
  • You're able to empathize with customers in a genuine way that lets them know you care about their issues and questions.
  • (Not required, but a huge plus): Ideally you have some experience with digital painting. Since this role will be answering some community questions around brushes, drawing tablets, and art feedback, our ideal candidate would have at least a basic understanding of digital art

Hours Required

Working time is flexible. To start out, you would need to be able to dedicate 4 hours/day, Monday-Friday. Depending on your experience, success, and availability, this could evolve into a full-time job in the near future.


Expected salary for this position is 5-8/hr, completely dependent on your experience, technical skills, and how well you can help us tackle the outcomes for this position.
